At first we must have the visa for traveling the foreign countries. Nepal is filled with the natural beauty and the very famous tourist areas. So, Nepal government makes easy for every traveler to get tourist visa in Nepal. You can easily get your visa at the Arrival (Kathmandu international airport) and the boarders of Nepal. But you must pay the visa fee and you must have six month valid passport and 2 passport size photo. Here is the detail for the visa fee:-
For 15 days- 25 USD
For 30 days- 40 USD
For 90 Days- 100 USD

After getting the visa at the arrival then you can stay in luxury hotels or other hotel on your choice at Kathmandu.
Itinerary information about Everest Base Camp
For Everest base camp trekking you must go with the experienced local guide. It is very dangerous to trek alone in Everest region because of the high altitude trek and weather changes often in Himalayas.  It takes 8 days to reach Everest base camp from Kathmandu.

Your journey to Everest base camp is started from the scenic flight to Lukla from the Kathmandu and trek to the place called Phakding. Luka airport situated at the middle of the beautiful natural surroundings. Lukla airport is one of the extreme airports of the world. Another day you’ll trek for the Namche bazar. Which is the capital of the Everest region and the Sherpa people. In this place you can have the experience of the Sherpa culture and the tradition. From here you can see the views if the majestic Himalayas.

The next day you will move for the Tengboche where the oldest and the historical monastery is situated. Tengboche monastery is the most popular and the holy place of the Sherpa people around Everest region. This day you will stay at the Tengboche monastery. From here you can view the mountain peaks around the Everest region and sightseeing around the Tengboche monastery. The very next day you’ll move for the Dengboche capturing the majestic Himalayas and the scenic views of Himalaya region. All most people are rest the another day in here because it is so hard for trekking every day.

In Everest region. So you also have to rest the second day of reaching at Dengboche. The next day you will trek for the Lobuche experiencing the Himalaya environments and the beautiful landscapes of Himalaya. At Lobuche there are many hotel and the lodges for staying. And finally the day of reaching the main destination, Everest base camp. This day you’ll trek to the Gorakshep and Everest base camp.  It takes 2 and half hours to reach gorakshep where you can put your stuffs at hotel and after lunch you will move for Everest base camp. It takes roughly 5 hours to reach base camp and back to Gorakshep.  You can also overnight in tent at Everest base camp. It’s better to stay in hotel than tent at base camp. Finally you can fulfill your dream to the Everest base camp.

During the trek to base camp you might be sick with the high altitude sickness. So you have to aware of altitude sickness. So as you know prevention is better than cure. During the trekking you must not eat the meat and drinks alcohol during the trekking.  You should drinks 3-4 liter water per day and it’s better to eat boiled food during the trek. Many people are died from altitude sickness so you must take care of things.

How to know that you have altitude problems?
These are the symptoms for altitude sickness:-
•    You’ll have Headache
•    Most of the people started vomiting after sick
•    During the trek you’ll feel more tired after walking some short distance
•    You will feel uneasy and hard to breath
•    You may have the stomachache
•    If you sick then your heart bit rate will increases extremely
•    You may cannot sleep well in night.
