Arrival at Kathmandu
Today is your first day in land of Himalayas, Nepal. Your wonderful time started upon your Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Sightseeing tour over Kathmandu valley and trek preparation
Today we spend our day in historical city Kathmandu. Our day starts after having breakfast in the hotel and leave for sightseeing tour along with your city guide around Kathmandu valley. We will visit four different sites which are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi
Our first day of trip starts with an early drive to our trek starting point at Syabrubeshi. Syabrubeshi is also known as gateway to Langtang region trek. The road takes us via north-west part of Kathmandu valley following beautiful scenery and traditional village along the route. En-route we would able to witness the superb panorama of the Himalayas, including the Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang ranges. After having quick lunch at Trishuli or Kalikasthan we proceed further towards the traditional village of Syabrubeshi. Overnight stay at teahouse in Syabrubeshi.

Trek from Syabrubeshi to Gatlang
Today is the first ever walk in the land of Langtang region. Our walk begins after having breakfast at teahouse. Trekking through the green fields our trial leads us towards the fascinating view point Bahun Danda Pass from where we can witness the lovely traditional village of Gatlang. Afterwards, we trek through the different ancient Buddhist monasteries, chortens, mani walls to get into the Goljung valley where we enjoy our lunch. Enjoying the views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung and mighty of peaks we reach to Gatlang village. Gatlang is a picturesque village set on a hillside where houses have wooden and stones shutters with art, colorful Tibetan decorations. Overnight stay at teahouse in Gatlang village.

Trek from Gatlang to Tatopani
After having breakfast at teahouse our day begins with a steep descend to Thangbuche near Chilime village. Then we visit the Chilime Hydropower dam and ascend up to cross the suspension bridge over Chilime River. After having lunch at Cherka we slowly move upwards towards the Gonggang village. Enjoying the outstanding views of the Langtang ranges and Ganesh Himal, we reach to Tatopani village. Tatopani literally means hot spring and local beliefs that the water have a healing quality that eases away your aches and pains after long walk. Trek from Tatopani to Thuman (2,338 m/7,671 ft.) via Nagthali Danda (3,165 m/10,384 ft.) 6-7 hrs.
After having breakfast at teahouse our day begins passing through the alpine forest as well Tamang settlement of Brimdang. Then after we walk few hours uphill until we reach the Nagthali danda which is the popular view point at the height of 3,165 m offering a panoramic view of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Paldor peak and mighty of peaks. It is also popular meditation center for the local monks and priests. After having our lunch here we continues our trek passing through beautiful landscape along with the spectacular views of mountains all the way to beautiful Thuman village. It is another beautiful Tamnag settlement with a traditional and charming houses. Overnight stay at teahouse in Thuman.

Trek from Thuman to Briddim (2,239 m/7,346 ft.) 6-7 hrs.
After morning breakfast our trek begins walking through the rhododendron forest and meadows. Our trial passes through the Bhote Koshi River and uphill towards Dalphedi village. Then we trek upwards to Timure village which is an ancient trade route to Tibet. It is a historical reminder of Nepal-Tibet relation that has existed for many centuries. After enjoying lunch at Timure, we continue our walk through different mani walls and descends steeply towards the valley of waterfalls and towards Lingling village. Our walk continues towards the beautiful Tamang village of Briddim. Briddim is a Tibetan influenced Tamang community, ideally located in the lap of Langtang Lirung. At Briddim you will experience the warm cultural hospitality at the homestay. Overnight stay at community homestay at Briddim.

Trek from Briddim to Lama Hotel (2,480m/8,136 ft.) 5-6 hrs.
Today we enjoy the breakfast at homestay where we experience real taste of local Nepalese cuisines. We start our day with a steep descends through pine forest towards the Ghopche Khola. Then we cross the bridge over Langtang khola and ascends on a steep trial towards the Rimche village. After having lunch our trial lead us towards the Lama Hotel. En-route to Lama Hotel if you are lucky enough you might see the abundant wildlife such as Red Panda, Himalayan black bear, Snow leopard etc. Overnight stay at Lama Hotel.

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village
Today we continue our day after having breakfast at Lama Hotel. Our trek continues ascending from Lama Hotel enjoying the mountain land along with the natural beauty of Langtang region. Then we reach the green meadows of Ghore Tabela. After having lunch here we beings our trek to see the first occasional sights of pure white Mt. Langtang Lirung and its ranges. Our trail continues to climb up the widening valley, passing a few temporary settlements of Tamang, old Buddhist monasteries to reach the beautiful Langtang village- headquarter of the Langtang National Park. Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa
After breakfast, we will start our journey following the gradual uphill trial through small villages and yak meadows. Then we trek through typical village of Mundu and Singdum along the way. Then we will be walking along with numerous Yaks grazing lands, small streams and rubble, water mills, prayer flags, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. We also pass by the largest mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers mantras written on them. Kyanjin Gompa is an oldest Buddhist monastery of the Langtang valley Overnight stay at teahouse in Kyanjin Gompa.

Hike to Tserko RI and return to Kyanjin Gompa
Today is one of the major day in Langtang circuit trekking. After a late breakfast, we will climb over Tserko RI for the spectacular 360 panoramic view of Langtang ranges along with other mighty of peaks. The trial to Tserko RI is long and difficult however reaching at the top is rewarded with the wonder of nature where will forgot all tiredness and difficulties. Then we back to Kyanjin Gompa by late afternoon and explore the beautiful Buddhist monasteries around there. We also visit a traditional yak cheese factory, where yak cheeses are manufactured by hand. Overnight stay at teahouse in Kyanjin Gompa.

Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
Our day begins with the breakfast at teahouse before starting descending towards the Lama Hotel. We follow the same trial that we have trek already since there is no other route to Lama Hotel. Most of our day descend downhill passing through Rhododendron and oak forests as well charming mountain villages. Enjoying the spectacular views of Himalayas we slowly back to Lama Hotel. Lama Hotel is situated alongside of Langtang River where we will spend our night hearing the sound of thundering river. Overnight stay at Lama Hotel.

Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru
After having breakfast at Lama Hotel, we begins our trek with a steep climb towards Rimche village. Then we descend to the bank of Langtang Khola and easy walk towards Bamboo village. Giving continuity to our trek, we will be at front of two trial which separates the way to Syabrubeshi and Thulo Syabru village. From here we continue our trek crossing the beautiful lush green forest, suspension bridges, waterfalls to reach Pahare hotel. After enjoying our lunch we slowly trek enjoying the magnificent view of Ganesh Himal until we reach Thuylo Syabru village. It is a pretty village with a minimal facilities of telephones, internet and nice lodges. Overnight stay at teahouse in Thulo Syabru.

Trek from Thulo Syabru to Cholang Pati
Our day begins after having breakfast at teahouse. Our trial starts ascending uphill leaving Thulo Syabru village. We will be passing through the checkpoint and continue towards traditional village of Garda village, Phulung Ghyang, Chandanbari (oldest Yak cheese factories of Nepal) before we reach Sing Gompa. Trek from Chlolang Pati to Gosaikunda
Today you fell slightly difficult as the trial takes you towards the high altitude. After having breakfast at teahouse we continue our walk slowly begins with the beautiful landscape and fantastic panoramic views of Himalayas including Langtang Lirung, Annapurna, Hiunchuli, & Ganesh Himal and so on. Then we slightly ascends the uphill and reach Lauribinayak. After having lunch our walk continues with an impressive view of Gosainkunda Lake. We then continue further via stone cliffs and tiny trial with occasional short downhill towards Goshainkunda Lake, our main destination point in Langtang Circuit trek. Â Gosainkunda is one of the major pilgrimage and Holy Lake of both Hindus and Buddhist of Nepal. This lake is surrounded by mountains on almost all sides and has a great ensemble of nine other lakes besides it. Every year during Janai Purnima in the month of August, thousands of Hindus pilgrims visit Gosainkunda to take a holy bath. Overnight stay at teahouse in Gosainkunda.

Trek from Gosainkunda to Ghopte via Lauribina La Pass
Probably today is the hardest and longest day of the entire trek because we are passing through the great adventurous pass of Lauribina La pass! After having breakfast we continue our trek with a short excursion around Gosainkunda Lake. Then we ascends towards the great adventurous pass Lauribina La pass (4,610 m) also known as Gosainkunda Pass. Then we slowly descends down towards Phedi. The Helambu regions begins from Phedi. After having lunch at Phedi we descends to the Melamchi valley. Then the rough trial takes us towards the small lake of Surya kunda before reaching Ghopte. Overnight stay at teahouse in Ghopte.

Then our trial takes us uphill and downhill passing through the dense forest of pine and Rhododendron to reach Tharepati village which offers a magnificent close up views of holy Lake Gosainkunda and surrounding high Himalayan ranges. After having lunch at Tharepati village, our trial passes through pine and Rhododendron forest again along with the impressive view of Helambu Valley. The trial descends until we cross the Melamchi River and followed to the beautiful settlement of Sherpa’s with their unique culture in Melamchi Gaon. Trek from Melamchi Gaon to Tarke Ghyang (2,600 m/8,530 ft.) 5-6 hrs.
Our day begins after having breakfast at Melamchi Gaon we descends steeply to the valley floor to cross the bridge and gently trek uphill towards Nakote village. Our trial also passes through forest that leads to Ama Yangri – the highest point of today’s trek. Then our trial goes gently towards beautiful village of Tarke Ghyang. Tarke Ghyang is biggest settlement inhabitant by Sherpa’s with the oldest and biggest monasteries in Helambu region. This village is incredible place to observe mixture of tradition and culture along with spirituality. It is also popularly known as Helambu, named after the Helmu caste. Trek from Tarkye Gyang to Sermanthang
After having breakfast, we start our day slowly begins through the flat landscape following the beautiful forest of Rhododendron. The trial leads crossing the beautiful settlement of Helambu region. Then we heads towards the beautiful and wide valley of Parachin and Ghangyul which is inhabited by the Sherpa’s. After having lunch at Ghangyul we start our trek gently following the forest, streams and naturally exiting geographical variation towards another beautiful village of Sermanthang. Sermanthang is a pretty Sherpa village popular as oldest and ancient monasteries at the and also the best view of Himalayas including Jugal Himal, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Rolwaling ranges and so on. Trek from Kakani to Melamchi Pul Bazaar
Today is the last day of trekking in Langtang circuit trek. After enjoying our breakfast, we start to descend down towards the Dubachaur village. The trial mostly takes us downhill via paddy fields until we reach the bank of Indrawoti River. Then we cross the small river before we reach the Melamchi Pul Bazaar. Melamchi Pul Bzaar is a small town inhabited by various ethnic groups and has markets and shops. This town is also famous from bus station which takes us towards Kathmandu. This town is also popular for delicious local fishes from the nearby river. Overnight stay at teahouse in Melamchi Pul Bazaar.

Drive from Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Kathmandu
After having breakfast at Melamchi Pul Bazaar we catch a bus towards the Kathmandu valley which takes approximately 3-4 hours’ drive. On your Arrival at Bus station at Kathmandu you will be easy transfer towards your respective hotel and the rest of the day is off for you to rest or do some souvenir shopping. Langtang Tamang Heritage Gosaikunda Circuit Trekking - Essential Information
Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu trek journey starts with a 7-8 hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi-the trek starting point. Then we start our trek towards the newly opened Tamang heritage trail. We start our trek passing through beautiful landscape along with Rhododendron forest and entire beauty of nature. Our trekking trail leads through the traditional village of Gatlang, Tatopani (natural hot spring), Nathalie, Briddim to Lama Hotel. Then we ascends further and enters the Langtang valley where we can experience the unique Tibetan Buddhist and Tamang culture, tradition and lifestyle.
Continuing our trek, we trek through Gore Tabela, Langtang valley and towards Kyanjin Gompa. Then we hike to highest point of the trek named Tserko Ri to seek the spectacular panoramic views of Himalayas. Then we descend with the same trial and joins the Thulo syabru village. Then we move further towards famous villages of Shin Gompa, Cholang pati, Lauribinayak and reach Gosainkunda.
Then we trek through the great adventurous pass of Laruibina La pass to enter another beautiful Helambu valley. Then our walk almost goes a circle passing through the beautiful village of Ghopte, Melamchi Gaon, Tarke Ghyang, Sermanthang, Kakani and Melamchi Pul Bazaar. Then we take a scenic drive to capital city Kathmandu to end our trip.
