Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Welcome to the Land of Himalayas, Nepal. Our representative happily welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu upon your arrival with warm greetings.
Then we will easily transfer to your respective hotel with our private vehicle as per your group size. In the evening, you will be introduced to your trek guide and trip briefing session in short at our Life Himalaya Trekking office at Thamel.

Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding
Today is the beginning day of the Everest Panoramic trek in the Himalayas of Nepal. After breakfast, we pick you up at the hotel early in the morning and transfer to Domestic Airport in Kathmandu. After a short morning flight which is around 35 minutes, you will land at Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla.
On your arrival at Lukla, you’ll be introduced to your Porters and crew members. After a short meeting and introduction with the porters, we start our trekking journey through the beautifully paved footpath beside the Dudh Koshi River along with typical Sherpa’s villages until we reach Phakding village.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
After having breakfast we start our walk along with a beautiful Sherpa settlement and Dudh Koshi River. Crossing the series of suspension bridges our walk continues to the famous village of Benkar and Monjo.
Thereafter, we ascend the village of Jorsalle- Sagarmatha National Park entry point as well as checking point of Permit and TIM’s card. After lunch at Jorsalle, we continue walking along with the river bank and were able to see the first sight of Mt. Thamasekru, Everest panoramas, and its majesty. Walking through Hillary Bridge we will reach to Namche Bazaar- the gateway of the Everest Region.
Namche Bazaar is a delightful mountain town built on a steep mountain bowl with excellent views of mountains.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Thame
Our day begins with the breakfast at Namche. Our day begins through a beautiful landscape along with the Bhote Koshi River and we enter the lush green forest of pine and Rhododendron.
We pass through ancient mud-plastered stupas at Phurte and follow the path towards Tesho. We move towards the traditional village of the Everest region named Thame. Thame village lies at the end of Khumbu valley with beautiful Sherpa settlements along with their primitive lifestyle, culture, and traditions.
The famous Thame Gompa lies here which is one of the important monasteries of Sherpa’s. Overnight stay at teahouse in Thame.

Trek from Thame to Khumjung
Today our day begins after breakfast at the teahouse. Enjoying the breathtaking view of the Himalayas and the mountain villages and inhabitants of Sherpa land we head towards the beautiful Khumjung village which is the largest settlement of Khumbu valley.
It is also regarded as one of the oldest and largest Sherpa settlements in the Everest region. Upon our arrival at Khumjung village, we will excursion over the Buddhist monasteries and seek the Yeti scalp at the Khumjung monastery.

Trek from Khumjung to Tengboche
After having breakfast we excursion over the Khumjung village. We visit the Hillary school, Sherpa museums, and other highlights of Khumjung village. After having lunch our trail ascends passing through some prayer flags and lush green forest of Rhododendron and pines and chances to witness the abundant wildlife.
Moving further, we reach to beautiful Tengboche village. Tengboche is one of the best places in the Khumbu region with the oldest Buddhist monasteries of and the best place for an awe-inspiring view of world highest mountains.

Trek descend from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar
Today we woke up early in the morning and had breakfast and execution over the Tengboche monasteries. We sightseeing over the best place in the Khumbu region which also flourished with old ancient Buddhist monasteries and shrines and also seek the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
Then we back to the teahouse and had lunch and start our trek descending towards the beautiful Namche Bazaar. The trail goes down through the lush green Rhododendron and pine forest and passes through a beautiful landscape towards the Sherpa’s capital. Namche Bazaar.

Trek from Namche to LuklaÂ
After breakfast at the teahouse, we gently descend through the Hillary suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and walk through Jorsale- Sagarmatha National Park entry point and trekking permit, and TIMS checking point.
Then our trek slowly descends the beautiful village of Monjo. After having lunch at Phakding, our trek continues crossing more suspension bridges, pine and rhododendron forest, charming village, prayer stones, and flags towards the gateway of Everest Region-Lukla.
On reaching Lukla, we enjoy our last dinner with the crew members and porters and celebrate the successful completion of our journey.

Fly from Lukla to KathmanduÂ
Today your day ends with Sherpa porter so, if you are happy with their services you may give them some gratitude. Then we take the earliest possible flight back to Kathmandu with the long-lasting memories of our successful Everest Panorama Trek completion.
We enjoy short and scenic 35 minutes breathtaking flight to Kathmandu. Upon your arrival at the domestic airport in Kathmandu, our representative or guide will take you to your respective hotels. The remaining day you may spend by relaxing at the hotel or excursion over the famous market of Thamel, Ason and do souvenir shopping or visit around place of interest.

Altitude sickness during the trek
Experiencing altitude sickness during the Everest Panorama trek is possible. Although we won’t be gaining altitudes more than 4000 m, you may still feel headache, nausea, loss of appetite, and dizziness. These are the common symptoms of mild altitude sickness. You can easily manage these symptoms by taking some preventive measures. You should drink 3 liters of water, stay away from cigarettes and alcohol, and avoid heavy food intake.
If you feel you are experiencing any of these symptoms, inform our guide. He will take the necessary actions needed for your safety. You can also take Diamox which can subside these symptoms. If you feel your symptoms are severe, our guide will then make the necessary decision for you. He may descend you at once, or if needed, he will make arrangements for your emergency evacuation.
Remember, water intake and slow hiking are the major preventive measures to deal with altitude sickness. So do not hurry and walk with your guide.

While you stay in the capital, complimentary breakfast will be provided to you. For lunch and dinner, you can visit any restaurants that you can find in every nook and corner of the narrow streets of Kathmandu. They are hygienic, and clean and serve hot tasty meals from Nepali, Indian, Continental, and so on.
As the trek begins, you will stay in the local lodge or guesthouse in twin-share accommodation. Full onboard meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided as per the lodge menu. Till Namche Bazaar, you can have numerous choices of culinary delights.

How is drinking water quality in this trek?
Lodges, guest houses, and tea houses often sell mineral water however we do not recommend you to drink this type of water. One for safety reasons and the second for environmental protection. You can always ask for boiled water in your accommodation for which you may have to pay an extra charge. Carrying water purifiers or water purification tablets are the best options.
