Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel 

Today is the first day of our adventure trek in Nepal. Our wonderful trip started upon your Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. After landing, our representative will warmly receive you at the Airport and transfer to the Hotel. After check-in in the hotel you can be fresh and take a rest. In the evening, we introduce with your trekking Guides and discuss trip briefing and planning. Stay Overnight stay at 3 star rated hotel in Kathmandu.

Sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley and Pre-trip meeting

Holy-Pashupatinath-TempleToday we spend our day around the historical Kathmandu valley. After having breakfast we leave our hotel for a sightseeing tour along with a city guide around Kathmandu valley. We will visit four different sites which are enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage Sites named Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, you will have a briefing session where you have a pre-meeting session for your trek guide. He will provide you with brief information regarding the trek and make a trek preparation. Connect flight to Lukla & trek to Phakding

Our trek starts after the flight to Lukla from Kathmandu after our early morning breakfast. On our way to Lukla, we enjoy breathtaking sceneries of mountains which is about a 35-minute flight. Our Everest Base Camp trek begins when we reach Lukla. Then we will introduce you to the porter and our trek begins gently alongside to Dudh Koshi River and passes through excellent paved footpaths, and beautiful villages about four to five hours to reach Phakding. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Phakding.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Luxury room at Everest hotelAfter having breakfast, we get prepared to start our further journey to the Himalayas. The trail leads towards the suspension bridges, pine forests, and easy uphill towards the beautiful village of Monjo, which is also the entrance point to Sagarmatha National Park. Then our trail leads across the Dudh-Koshi River and passes the Jorsalle village.  We trek uphill and are able to see the world’s highest Mt. Everest along with Mt. Lhoste for the first time before reaching Namche Bazaar- a gateway to Khumbu or Everest region. Namche Bazaar is the capital of the Everest region which has a steep bowl shape landscape with excellent mountain views where we spend a night. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Namche Bazaar.

Acclimatization & rest day at Namche Bazaar 

Namche bazaar night viewToday is our acclimatization day, where we will spend our day at Namche Bazaar again.  Climbing high and sleeping low is considered a good way to acclimatize your body so that there will not be any altitude sickness problems. After lunch, we will short hike towards the Everest view hotel from where we can see the panoramic view of the world’s highest mountains Mt. Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, and so on. Today we also visit the Hillary museum and experience Sherpa culture and their lifestyles. Then we back to the beautiful town and take a rest to prepare ourselves for the next day. Stay Overnight at the tea house in Namche Bazaar.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

The-holiest-place-of-all-Sherpa-Everest-Tengboche-MonasteryAfter having breakfast at the Namche Bazaar, our trial leads us towards Kenjoma from where the trail to Gokyo Lake and Everest base camp separates. Slowly, we descend towards the Dhudh-Koshi River bank and walk through the beautiful forests of Rhododendron. Our journey continues with the magnificent view of the Himalayas and many Sherpa villages to reach the Tengboche village. Tengboche is a very famous village in the Khumbu region which is renowned for its oldest and biggest Buddhist monastery with a charming spot beyond our eyes of the world’s beautiful mountains including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Tengboche.

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche

Today our day begins by passing through a lush green Rhododendron forest until we reach the beautiful village of Pangboche. Pangboche is the spot of several Mani walls and small villages as well as home to many Everest Sherpa climbers. We can admire good views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam while walking. Then we will reach Orsho which is the point that separates the trial to Pheriche and Dingboche. We continue our walk to Imja valley to reach the picturesque village of Dingboche. Dingboche is also known as the gateway for Island Peak Climbing. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Dingboche.

Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung & trek back to Dingboche

In this high-altitude trek, we used to climb high and sleep low to ensure proper acclimatization at a high altitude to stay active. After having a late breakfast, we start our trek towards Chhukung valley which is surrounded by majestic peaks like Mt. Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam, Island peak, Chocolate, Taboche, and many mighty peaks. After having lunch at Chukkung or Imja Valley we back to beautiful Dingboche again. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Dingboche.

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

Today our trail starts with a slow walk ascending towards Duglha through the Khumbu Khola valley. The valley begins to narrow as we come closer to Dusa. The trail is steep and trial consists of numerous huge rocks and mountain yaks passing nearby at a high altitude. During our walk, we see many memorials made in memory of climbers with praying flags and stones who passed away on the way to Everest. Enjoying the majestic view of Khumbuste, Lingtren, Pumori, and many other peaks we reach Lobuche. Lobuche is a mountain village that contains only a few houses. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Lobuche.

Trek to Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp & back to Gorak Shep

Everest-Base-Camp-TrekToday is the first exciting day of our adventure trek. Our day starts with an early breakfast in Lobuche and then continues earlier to reach Gorak Shep. The trail is quite wide and easy to walk from here. Then we check-in in at the lodge at Gorak Shep and keep our belongings here. After lunch, we head towards the world’s highest Mt. Everest base camp. From the base of Mt. Everest, we enjoy breathtaking views of the world’s highest mountains, the world’s biggest Khumbu glacier, icefalls, glacier lakes, and so on. After taking our valuable adventurous memories in the camera we return to Gorak Shep through the same trial since there is no any teahouse to sit at base camp. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Gorak Shep.

Trek to Kalapatthar & trek down to Lobuche

Everest-Short-Trek-View-From-KalapatherToday we start our day very early in the morning before the sun rises. This morning we start climbing to the top of Kalapatthar which is one of the best viewpoints to witness the Himalayas of the Everest region. From Kalapatthar we can observe the 360-degree panoramic views of snow-capped mountains like Mt. Everest, Khumbustse, Pumari, Cho-Oyu, Khumbu Glacier, and Ama Dablam along with vibrant sunrise on it. Then we trek down to Gorakshep and had breakfast. Thereafter, we descend towards Lobuche village to prepare for our Lobuche peak climbing. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Lobuche.

Trek from Lobuche to Lobuche Peak Base Camp

Today is our next adventurous day since we are starting to climb the beautiful Lobuche East Peak. Our day begins from Lobuche to Lobuche base camp. Our walk passes over the flat path about halfway and then begins steeper rocky and snowy all the way to Lobuche base camp. Our walk forwards along with the Lobuche glacier as well as enjoying the spectacular views of Cholatse, Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokalde, Thamserku, Kantega, and many more. The accommodation will be in a tented camp for the next two or three days and you will be having camping food prepared by our professional cook.

Today you will also have a pre-climbing training session where our professional climbing guides will teach about the training on peak climbing techniques and proper ways of using all the climbing equipment and gears. Also, your climbing guide will brief you regarding the climbing facts where you discuss your queries about the climbing. Stay Overnight at a tented camp in Lobuche Base Camp.

Summit to Lobuche Peak then back to Lobuche Base Camp

Lobuche Base Camp TrekToday is our thrilling and adventurous day where we will be submitting the magnificent Lobuche East Peak (6,119 m/20,075 ft.). Our peak summit day starts early in the morning after with an amazing snowy walk along with short rock steps, glaciers, snow walls, rocky ridge, and reach High camp. With hard work, you will stand on the summit of wonderful Lobuche east peak blessings you with glorious panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Lhoste, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Chocolate, Pumori, Island peak, and many other peaks. Getting an unforgettable lifetime experience as a well memorable snapshot at the top of the Himalayas of Nepal we descend towards the High Camp. After a safe climb, we safely return back all the way to Lobuche Base Camp. Stay Overnight at a tented camp in Lobuche Base Camp.

Reserved day for Contingency or spare day for summit in case of bad weather

There is no guarantee that we will have favorable weather on our planned day for the Lobuche peak summit so, this day is set aside as a contingency. If the weather becomes exceptionally unfavorable we wisely have to postpone the program. In case we are unable to summit the peak on the desired day due to bad weather conditions or any other unanticipated reasons, then this day is reserved for taking such kinds of risks in our adventurous journey. Sometimes somebody in a group may also get problems with acclimatization well enough, and then this day can be used. However, if the trip goes smoothly, this spare day may not be required.

Trek from Lobuche Base Camp to Pangboche

Today we will enjoy our breakfast at a tented camp prepared by our cook. After having breakfast we slowly descend downhill from Lobuche base camp towards Lobuche village. After having lunch at Lobuche, we retrace our walk towards the village of Pheriche. Then we continue our walk to Pangboche village enjoying the magnification view Himalayas. Again we pass via beautiful Rhododendron and Juniper forests towards Pangboche village. On reaching Pangboche we visit the famous Pangboche Monastery. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Pangboche.

Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar

Namche-Bazaar-Adventure-Himalaya-Village.-World-Highest-Base-Camp-TrekEnjoying our breakfast at the teahouse, we slowly descend down to the Imja Khola and follow the beautiful Rhododendron forest to reach Tengboche village. After lunch at Tengboche, We visit the nourishing Tengboche monastery. After a short visit, we continue our walk passing through the hillside with spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Nuptse alongside. Then we cross the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and again pass through the beautiful forests before reaching Sansa. Then we pass by the army camp to reach the beautiful Namche Bazaar. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Namche Bazaar.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla

After breakfast at Namche, Our trial takes us downhill and towards the Hillary suspension bridge over the Dhudh-Koshi River. Then we pass through several typical villages of Sherpa’s settlements of Jorsalle and Monjo. Then we reach the beautiful village of Phakding where we enjoy our lunch. After having lunch at Phakding, our trek continues passing through rivers and beautiful landscapes until we climb to Lukla. Today is the last day with our porters and crew-member so, so we enjoy our day full of excitement. Stay Overnight at the teahouse in Lukla.

Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

Dangerous lukla airportToday is our last day in the heartland of Everest. After having breakfast, we take the earliest possible flight back to Kathmandu. On your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, our representative will easily transfer you on our private vehicle to your respective hotels. You may relax whole day or explore the famous markets and places to do some souvenir shopping. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner at a reputed Nepalese restaurant with a typical Nepalese cultural dance hosted by Life Himalaya Trekking to celebrate the successful completion of our journey.
