Helicopter (Sharing Basis) from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding
Our Everest Short Trek-05 days start with a scenic helicopter fly to Lukla providing epic views of small villages of Nepal, hills, rivers, and amazing mountain ranges. Our representative will pick you up at your accommodation and drive you to the domestic airport. Then we will board the helicopter to Lukla.
During the flight, on a clear day, you will see Mt.Everest as well from the starting day. After a 45-minute helicopter, we reach the “Gateway to Everest” Lukla. The small hustling and bustling town welcomes you to the Everest Region, where we will meet our local guides and porters, and then we start trekking to Phakding.
Relatively, trekking to Phakding is easier with downhill slopes and trails passing by many suspension bridges and terrace land and villages.

Trek from Phakding to Monjo
Today is a short day, to counter that, we can explore different monasteries in Phakding, and with a slow start, we will reach Monjo. Monjo is the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park. A vibrant town with shops, hotels, and restaurants. You can also visit a school built with the partial contribution of our sister company (Ganesh Himal Community Foundation).

Trek from Monjo to Namche Bazaar
Today is the most difficult day of the trek. After having breakfast at Monjo, we will trek slowly alongside the river until we see the amazing Hillary Bridge from below. Then we will trek uphill until we reach Namche. This part of the trek also ensures a view of Mt.Everest on a clear day while trekking.
Hillary Bridge is one of the popular spots for photos and videos due to the high suspension bridge overlooking the river.

Exploration of Namche Bazaar, explore Khumjung, Syangboche
Namche Bazaar is a vibrant town, with lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops. We will explore the village, local monasteries, and Everest View Point, then hike up to Everest View Hotel via Syangboche and trek downhill to Khumjung and explore Hillary school, and Khumjung Monastery. Finally, we will return back to Namche for our overnight stay.

Helicopter fly over Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lakes flyover, and land at Kalapathar and back to Kathmandu
Early morning after breakfast, we will ride on a helicopter and observe the picturesque views of the High Mountains including views of Mt.Amadablam, Everest, Thamserku, Lhotse, Cho-oyu, and many more peaks. We will fly over the blue-toned Gokyo Lakes, over the glaciers, and head towards Everest Base Camp. After landing at Kalapathar, you will have a short break to click photos/videos and witness the beauty of the Everest Region.
Finally, we will head back to Kathmandu via Lukla after completing our short Everest Trek and Helicopter Tour.
