About Troy

My name is Troy Pegler, and I’m the Australia & New Zealand Sales Representative for Life Himalaya Trekking.

I grew up in New Zealand, surrounded by mountains, fresh air, and a strong connection to the outdoors. From a young age, hiking and exploring nature became more than just a hobby—it shaped who I am and how I see the world. That deep love for the mountains is what naturally drew me to Nepal and the Himalayas.

I’m incredibly passionate about sharing the very best trekking experiences in Nepal, showcasing not only the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, but also the culture, people, and spirit that make this country so special. For me, trekking isn’t about ticking off destinations—it’s about connecting with the land, the culture, and Mother Nature in a meaningful way.

Through Life Himalaya Trekking, I work closely with experienced local Nepali guides to ensure our treks are safe, authentic, and respectful. Just as importantly, I strongly believe in giving back. Supporting children in Nepal is close to my heart, and I’m proud to be involved in fundraising for orphanages and schools in remote villages, helping provide education and opportunities where they’re needed most.

My role is to help trekkers from Australia and New Zealand feel confident, informed, and excited about their journey—knowing that their adventure not only creates unforgettable memories, but also positively supports local communities.
