Having started from humble beginnings, it’s now been over 2 decades since we’ve been working on the trails. However, we established Life Himalaya Trekking 5 years ago, & we will never look back. These mountains we’ve walked for so long have taught us so much about life. We have carefully designed Himalaya trekking itineraries that have given our guests a sense of purpose & achievement. We have entirely focused on trips lesser known which goes off the beaten track so that our clients will enjoy knowing how great things never come from comfort zones.

2. 2. Safety, priorities, and services are crucial when traveling with Life Himalaya Trekking.

We provide first-grade safety measures as we have experienced the heights ourselves and know what might happen if we go unprepared at high altitudes of over 6000m. Going to soaring heights is always risky, hence, we do risk assessments and make SURE our gears and equipment are fully functioning and of high quality, before it goes to you because your safety is your life, & it’s our responsibility to make sure your life is absolutely safe. We strictly follow planning and risk assessment to ensure the safety and well-being of our trekking guests journeying through the Himalayas of Nepal. We provide only A-grade excellent equipment and ensure ample time for trekkers to acclimatize since we know how high the risks are in this mountaineering business. We also provide good advice and tips on trek preparation, especially when climbing peaks in isolated regions. It’s vital for us that you go through a medical checkup before starting a journey, especially above altitudes of 4000m. The arrangement is much easier to follow, and the planning won’t be a problem to implement. There’s enough space to focus all your energy on discovering the wonders you’ve never seen before for an experience of a lifetime. At Life Himalaya Trekking, we have a group of limited personnel, just enough to provide you with the individual presence of discovering a place independently, but large enough to give you a feel of social convenience. Normally, group size varies depending on the place and means we’re traveling by, but the average size of a group is about 10 people. Over the years of experience built up, we’ve learned that this is the best number to let you connect with people you meet without feeling like you’re just another member of the group.

5. 5. Trekking and climbing equipment are offered for your convenience

It is always important to keep in mind that when packing you should make it a bare minimum.

Your luggage should not weigh more than 15 kg (33 pounds) at the beginning of a trek. The basic equipment we provide is a Duffel bag, Sleeping bag with liner, a Down Jacket and t-shirts with a cap. Any other equipment can be hired in Thamel, a well-known Asian hub for trekkers in Kathmandu. Our recommendations are top-notch trekking outlets that provide best-grade equipment which won’t trouble you on the trails. The equipment we provide is of the highest quality to ensure your safety from the climate and rough terrain. The Duffel bag, with well-maintained group climbing gears that guarantee your safety at high altitudes, is provided by us. You can choose your equipment according to your needs, preference and duration and season of your trip, etc. A lot of these gears can be found for hire or sale in Kathmandu. Most of the gears are locally made and cheaper, some gears imported from China are of better quality. Several branded stores also provide signature equipment imported from Europe which is of a prime quality, & so is the cost.

You’d think with our exceptional services our charges would be high, but we ensure that our cost is the best in the market. ‘All our prices are based on clean deals without the frills’ and we provide breakdown prices when requested to show our guests what they get from what they’ve paid for, up front.

Life Himalaya trekking provides a whole host of services ranging from Adventure Tourism, Religious Tourism, Cultural Tourism, and special interest programs. We also offer services for Hotel Booking, Para-gliding, Bungee jumping, Sightseeing from helicopters, Rafting, Jungle safaris, and Ticketing and Transportation services. We also conduct and organize MICE services for our guests and international travel agents if and when required. We’re pioneers in Heli-treks and Heli-tours which we have organized throughout the country.

11. 11. Emergency options

It is really important that the leader of the expedition always carries a satellite phone for emergency purposes at all times. At Life Himalaya trekking, this is central to organizing trips for our clients. The high-frequency phone can also be used by guests for contacting their loved ones back home when there is a need for that.

We charge a minimum price from our guests for the use of this phone which is expensive to register with the government & maintain. On all of our trips, we also carry Emergency first-aid kits and medical supplies which are highly necessary for minor injuries that may arise during the journey. From day one of the commencement of the trek, the movements of our guests are monitored every day throughout the whole journey.

we’ve experienced it all – the highs and lows; we’ve known nature at its best and its worst. It’s so important to always be prepared when we are face-to-face with Mother Nature, in the wilderness above the timber lines. Created with immense beauty, on these mountains unpredictable calamities can hit us when least expected, hence, we have always been aware of our surroundings and the environment. We constantly keep the faith and respect the mountains while escorting our guests on its trails; for they are graceful with their beauty and purity. Despite the hardship and struggles we face in the mountains, Life Himalaya trekking’s initial start ratio has been over 80%; however, our success ratio to date has now climbed to 95% due to our sincere services & the experiences we’ve accumulated over the years. It’s been an arduous journey down the road, but we’ve hung on with grit & patience. We’ve now come a long way.
