The Manaslu Expedition with Helicopter Return offers a short yet challenging climb of the world’s eighth-highest peak (8,163m / 26,781ft) with a helicopter flight to and from the mountain, significantly reducing trekking time. Short Manaslu expedition takes only 25 days and provides an efficient, well-managed ascent for experienced climbers.

The best Manaslu expedition  is suitable for locals and international climber who are willing  summit Himalayan peak in Nepal. Mt. Manaslu peak is located between Ganesh himal and Annapurna and Lamjung Himal mountain peaks .

Permits & Regulations

To participate in the short Helicopter Return Manaslu Expedition, the following permits are required:

  • Manaslu Restricted Area Permit
  • Manaslu Conservation Area Permit
  • Climbing Permit
  • Local Rural Permit
  • Helicopter Entry Permit

Manaslu Expedition Cost & Services

The cost of the Manaslu Expedition depends on the services included. Life Himalaya ensures a comfortable, European-standard expedition led by highly experienced guides with multiple successful summits.

The expedition is staffed by experienced cooks offering a variety of meals, including traditional Nepali, vegetarian, vegan, and international cuisine. All meals include hot and cold drinks, with a selection of meat-based and plant-based options.

  • Standard expedition cost: $9,000 – $15,000 per person (group basis)
  • Helicopter return expedition: $15,000 – $22,000 per person (group basis). The prices are flexible as per the itinerary, cost inclusions and services included in the Manaslu Expedition Packages.
