As the popularity of the Everest Base Camp Trek is soaring day by day, the way of trekking is also changing. Let’s go to the past day, in 1953 Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay walk from Jiri to Everest. Which takes about 10 days to reach the Everest base camp. As popularity continues, there comes the facility of the  Plane from Lukla and again the trekking days are decreasing. Often people are choosing to trek from Lukla, which takes about 12 to 14 days for reaching and returning to Lukla. But Life Himalaya Introduces a new way of achieving the world’s highest Everest Base Camp.

As the world is moving towards the global village, everyone is rushing towards success, and leisure time is significantly decreasing. So, we proposed a Helicopter Everest Base Camp Trekking. This Everest Base Camp Short Trek takes only 7 days to reach and be back from EBC (Total days include Arrival and departure). However, some of the trekkers also choose to trek from Jiri and end at Jiri.

So, Which way of Trekking is significant? What is the difference between regular and helicopter Everest base camp trekking? Here we present to you the detail of both ways. Choose one which is relevant to you.

Regular Everest Base Camp Trekking- 12-15 days

Regular Everest Base Camp trek is a slow and gradual walk with the same itinerary. But consumes more time. Regular Everest trek initially starts from the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, from where your trekking day begins. On this regular EBC trek, you have to walk the same you back, that you went up. You’ll spend more days in the Himalayas, and getting used to it more is some of the advantages. However, walking the same way up and down might not be adventurous for some people. It consumes more time and more energy.

Furthermore, Regular Everest Base Camp Trekking can be done in two ways. Starting from Jiri and Starting from Lukla. If you start from Jiri then it will take you 23 days (Returning flight from Lukla ) or 26 days. On the other hand, you can also do the regular Everest Base Camp trekking in just 12 to 14 days including your arrival and departure. This trek starts from Lukla and ends at Lukla.
