day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m); Drive to the Hotel

Arrive in Kathmandu, the bustling capital of Nepal. You’ll be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day can be used for rest or some light sightseeing around the city. Also, a short briefing session will be held to provide important information on the trek. We will also provide the duffle bags, t-shirt, and caps as souvenir as well as the sleeping bag and down jacket on rent, included in the trip cost of Pikey Peak Trek.

day 02 Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar (2,850 m / 7 hrs)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar, a small village in the foothills of the Everest region. The drive takes about 7 hours, with views of terraced fields and traditional villages.

day 03 Day 3: Dhap Bazaar to Jhapre (2,815 m / 4-5hours)

day 05 Pikey Base Camp to Junbesi (2,680 m) via Pikey Peak (4,065 m) – 6 ,8hours

After an early sunrise at Pikey Peak, descend towards Junbesi, a picturesque Sherpa village. The hike involves some ascents and descents but is rewarded with amazing views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

day 06 Exploration Trip to Thupten Choling Gompa (2,920 m)

Take a day trip to Thuptenchholing Gompa, a beautiful Buddhist monastery with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The gompa is a place of spiritual significance, and the hike to it will offer a chance to immerse yourself in the local culture.

day 07 Junbesi to Phaplu (2,380 m / 5 hours) or Sallary 2890m

Begin your trek to Phaplu, a small town with an airstrip. The trek will take around 5 hours, passing through dense forests, small villages, and lush landscapes.

day 08 Fly from Phaplu to Kathmandu 35 min or drive from Salleri to kathmandu 8 to 9 hours

In the morning, take a scenic flight from Phaplu back to Kathmandu. The flight offers beautiful views of the mountains and valleys, providing a final glimpse of the Himalayas before returning to the city. Or take jeep ride from Salleri to Kathmandu

day 09 Farewell and Departure.

After farewell, Life Himalaya Representative will drop you to the airport with lots of memories created and wishing you Bon Voyage.

I completed the Manaslu Circuit with Saugat and Aunil, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! The trek was breathtaking, the organization was perfect, and the views were simply stunning. Thanks to Life Himalaya Trekking, my husband and I were able to realize a dream. From the moment of organizing from Italy, Shiba proved to be extremely available and quick in communications. And, once here, we were able to immediately verify how efficient the entire team that makes up the company is. Shiba is infinitely sweet and friendly; he pampered us, guiding us through all the organizational aspects of our trip, from the trek to Everest Base Camp to cultural visits in Kathmandu and surroundings, covering all types of transportation we needed. We were extremely satisfied with our Everest Base Camp trek with Life Himalaya Trekking. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, everything was organized perfectly. Due to weather conditions, the company arranged a helicopter flight for us, which made the start of our adventure even more special. Our guide, Rabin, was exceptional. He was kind, caring, and looked after us every step of the way. Whenever we felt unwell, he made sure we were comfortable and helped us recover. His knowledge of the mountains, careful approach to acclimatization, and genuine care for our well-being allowed us to continue the journey safely. Most importantly, he treated us like family, making the entire trek feel like a trip with friends rather than a guided tour. Our porter, Arjun, was equally amazing. He was always cheerful, funny, and incredibly helpful. During acclimatization hikes and challenging moments, he even helped with our backpacks when we were struggling. I had a wonderful time trekking EBC. Birsha Rai was an awesome guide he made sure I had anything I needed. He made sure my accommodations were good and I had plenty of water and snacks for the trek. Dhan Kajl was my porter and he took extra care of my things my bag was always clean and dry when delivered to my room. He even carried my day pack the last stretch of EBC trek. Life Himalayan took care of me from the moment I landed and was without one bag to making sure I made all my helicopter connections. Someone was there every step of the way. Life Himalaya Trekking gave us an amazing experience! We had the most wonderful guide, Jal Tamang. Not only did he provide amazing conversation, high spirits, and tons of great information about the Everest region, he went above and beyond when a member of our party got altitude sickness. He worked tirelessly to bring food & water to them during their hospital stay, but also coordinated their time in Lukla after they had had to descend. I still made it to Base Camp, and throughout our journey he made the entire experience unforgettable. The accommodations were also truly top notch, with the earlier tea houses offering hot showers, readily available charging, and even heating pads under the mattresses. What a beautiful experience! Life Himalaya trekking and their team are truly great. Our guide Rabin Ray is a mountain professional. He took great care of us throughout the journey. Our porter Tik as well, always there to help us. Shiba, the owner, is a professional and he makes sure to meet us and ensure that everything goes well before our departure.
