day 01 Arrival at Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

At Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport on fresh arrival where you will be warmly received by a Life Himalaya Trekking representative and then with transfer to your respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu city. Then after refreshment, we will brief you on includes other information related to this trip. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

day 02 Fly from Kathmandu/Ramechap to Lukla and Trek to Phakding

Our day starts with a morning short scenic flight to Lukla with an areal view of Kathmandu city and mountain range. On reaching Lukla, we spend our short refreshment break and introduction our Porters. Then our first day walks towards Ghat village- a spot for our lunch through farmland and typical Sherpa villages. Our walk passes with a moderate walk passing through short ups overlooking beautiful scenery following the route to Phakding located by Dudh Koshi River. Overnight stay at tea-house in Phakding.

day 03 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

After a nice morning, walk continues crossing bridges over Dudh Koshi River passing several interesting villages of Bhenkar and Monjo arriving at Sagarmatha National Park entrance gate. After lunch at Jorsalle we walk for few hours and passes the last suspension bridge to steep uphill to Namche Bazaar- the Sherpa’s capital. Namche is a only place with facilities of good restaurant, pubs, cyber, cafe, post office, and banks are available in Khumbu region. Overnight stay at tea-house in Namche Bazaar.

day 04 Rest day at Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization and Hike to Syangboche

Today we stop at Namche to insure proper acclimatization. An ideal and perfect place for rest with acclimatization day, before heading higher altitude area. Our morning starts with a short hike to Everest View Hotel- the world’s highest altitude luxury hotel for views closeup view of Everest, world’s beautiful mountain- Amadablam and many other peaks. After having lunch, we return towards Namche and rest of the day we spend by sightseeing over Namche or enjoy rest and make preparation for next day. Overnight stay at tea-house in Namche Bazaar.

day 05 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

From Namche on gradual scenic path with downhill to Imjatse river at Phunki-Tenga where we stop for our lunch. Then we trek uphill through rhododendron, pines, firs tree forest with views of snow-capped peaks towards beautiful Tengboche village. On reaching Tengboche we visit famous Buddhist monastery with magnificent panorama of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kangtenga,Thamasarku, Kwande and Amadablam. Overnight stay at tea-house in Tengboche.

day 06 Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche

Morning downhill walk for few hours over Imjatse River, after the bridge walk on an open country where tree lines fades for few short juniper and dwarf rhododendron bushes. Then we walk towards uphill for a while to reach at Pangboche village. Then we walk towards last permanent village before Dingboche and beyond, from here a slow climb to Somara where we take our lunch . We continue our walk with short climb towards Dingboche village which located in Imjatse valley with panorama of mountains. Overnight stay at tea-house in Dingboche.

day 07 Acclimatization day at Dingboche and excursion

Today is another rest day for proper acclimatization at Dingboche to stay active on a high-altitude trek. Climbing high and sleeping low is considered a good way to acclimatize your body so that there will not be any altitude sickness problems during your trip. After having lunch, we hike toward Nakarjung hill for amazing panoramic views of the Himalayas. After a short hike, we return to Dingboche and take a rest. Overnight stay at tea-house in Dingboche.

day 08 Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

After a great rest at Dingboche, our day begins with a morning walk and steep climb for an hour commanding excellent views, and then on the gentle trail to Thugla. Enjoying our lunch here, we move further seeing the biggest glacier in the world-Khumbu glacier which melting into a raging river. From here trail from Pheriche joins after a break a steep climb for an hour to Thulga pass, with stone memorials of unfortunate climbers who died climbing Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and other high mountains. From here a nice pleasant walk brings us to Lobuche for the overnight stop. Overnight stay at tea-house in Dingboche.

day 09 Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep and Hike to Everest Base Camp

Today we reach the highlight of this adventure trek to Everest Base Camp, with a slow walk and short steep climb in between over glacier and moraine, reaching Gorakshep the last settlement beneath Mt. Pumori and Kalapathar. Then our walk continues towards Everest Base Camp, at base camp enjoy the view of Khumbu Ice Fall and glaciers, after a lifetime experience. Since there is no any tea-house to settle at EBC we return back to Gorakshep for overnight. Overnight stay at tea-house in Gorakshep.

day 10 Hike to Kalapathar and Trek to Pheriche

Early morning we hike towards the top of Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, highest point of this adventure. Kalapathar offers incredible views of mountains including Mt. Everest at close distance. After a great moment at Kalapathar we return to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue walk to Thugla a perfect spot for our lunch. Then we move downhill with a pleasant walk towards windy valley Pheriche. Overnight stay at tea-house in Pheriche.

day 11 Trek from Pheriche to Monjo

Our day starts after having breakfast at tea-house. Then our return journey is much easier on losing height every few hours. Our walk moves downhill with few short ups towrads beautiful village of Pangboche. Then passing a bridge we ascends to Tengboche and continue our walk to Namche. Overnight stay at tea-house in Namche Bazaar.

day 12 Trek from Monjo to Lukla

day 13 Fly back to Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

From Lukla we take an early morning flight back towards Kathmandu with breathtaking views of mountain from flights. The rest of your day is reserved for your personal activities like souvenir shopping, excursion, massage, etc. Overnight at 3 star rated hotel in Kathmandu.

day 14 Farewell and Final Departure.

Today is the last day of your adventurous journey in Nepal. After a memorable and fantastic adventure and experience khumbu valley and Kathmandu world heritage sites, Life Himalaya’s representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport before three hours of your flight schedule for your flight back home or to next respective countries.

I completed the Manaslu Circuit with Saugat and Aunil, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! The trek was breathtaking, the organization was perfect, and the views were simply stunning. Saugat’s knowledge, professionalism, and expertise as a guide, together with Aunil’s help, kindness, and support as a porter, made the whole experience even more special. A life changing experience! Milan and Bhim were the best guide and porter for our very first trek in the Himalayas. Thanks to Life Himalaya Trekking, my husband and I were able to realize a dream. From the moment of organizing from Italy, Shiba proved to be extremely available and quick in communications. And, once here, we were able to immediately verify how efficient the entire team that makes up the company is. Shiba is infinitely sweet and friendly; he pampered us, guiding us through all the organizational aspects of our trip, from the trek to Everest Base Camp to cultural visits in Kathmandu and surroundings, covering all types of transportation we needed. We were extremely satisfied with our Everest Base Camp trek with Life Himalaya Trekking. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, everything was organized perfectly. Due to weather conditions, the company arranged a helicopter flight for us, which made the start of our adventure even more special. Our guide, Rabin, was exceptional. He was kind, caring, and looked after us every step of the way. Whenever we felt unwell, he made sure we were comfortable and helped us recover. His knowledge of the mountains, careful approach to acclimatization, and genuine care for our well-being allowed us to continue the journey safely. Most importantly, he treated us like family, making the entire trek feel like a trip with friends rather than a guided tour. Our porter, Arjun, was equally amazing. He was always cheerful, funny, and incredibly helpful. During acclimatization hikes and challenging moments, he even helped with our backpacks when we were struggling. I had a wonderful time trekking EBC. Birsha Rai was an awesome guide he made sure I had anything I needed. He made sure my accommodations were good and I had plenty of water and snacks for the trek. Dhan Kajl was my porter and he took extra care of my things my bag was always clean and dry when delivered to my room. He even carried my day pack the last stretch of EBC trek. Life Himalayan took care of me from the moment I landed and was without one bag to making sure I made all my helicopter connections. Someone was there every step of the way. Life Himalaya Trekking gave us an amazing experience! We had the most wonderful guide, Jal Tamang. Not only did he provide amazing conversation, high spirits, and tons of great information about the Everest region, he went above and beyond when a member of our party got altitude sickness. He worked tirelessly to bring food & water to them during their hospital stay, but also coordinated their time in Lukla after they had had to descend. I still made it to Base Camp, and throughout our journey he made the entire experience unforgettable. The accommodations were also truly top notch, with the earlier tea houses offering hot showers, readily available charging, and even heating pads under the mattresses. What a beautiful experience! Life Himalaya trekking and their team are truly great. Our guide Rabin Ray is a mountain professional. He took great care of us throughout the journey. Our porter Tik as well, always there to help us. Shiba, the owner, is a professional and he makes sure to meet us and ensure that everything goes well before our departure.
