Morning after breakfast an exciting drive on Nepal’s main busy highway through interesting farm villages and towns to reach at the bank of Trisuli River in Kurintar for a short ride in a cable car across the river heading higher to Manakamana village and its holy temple dedicated to Goddess Manakamana a manifestation of Hindu warrior Goddess Kali and Durga where pilgrims sacrifice domestic animals and offer the blood to the deities, an interesting spot with many devotees traveling from all around Nepal and India.

At Bandipur with wonderful time, morning couple of hours drives towards picturesque Pokhara valley, a scenic and touristic spot blessed with natural surroundings of high and massive Annapurna range of mountains that reflects on its serene lakes Phewa and Begnas.

A pleasant drive through farm villages and towns with views of snow clad peaks and then reaching at suburb of Pokhara city, our journey continues for another hour to reach at Dhampus village located on a ridge top where the air is much cooler with mountain breeze.

Dhampus village offers panorama of mountains overlooking at Annapurna massive with Mt. Manaslu-Lamjung Himal and as far to Mt. Dhaulagiri towards west includes stunning views of Mt. Machhapuchare ‘Fish Tail.’ In Dhampus explore the lovely Gurung people villages of great Buddhist culture.

Morning enjoy the views of mountainswith last daywalk starting with a short climb into serene cool woodland reaching a beautiful spot at Thulo Khadka also popularly  known as Australian camp, where in early 1970’s Australian expeditions to Annapurna camped on this spot.
