Annapurna base camp heli return trek is the unique trekking way that gives you the experience of walking through the diverse landscapes and cultural diversities with a scene of the high mountains, Asia’s largest rhododendron forest, cultural and traditional villages of the Gurkha people, and a different variety of vegetations.

Annapurna helicopter trek not only offers an amazing walk but also a scenic flight over the mountain and beautiful villages. Flight offers us magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains, beautiful landscapes, green hills, rice fields, and Gurung villages.

ABC short trek is mainly targeted at people who have a very short period of holiday/ time. The one treks cover the two most popular and most trekked destinations; Poonhill trek and Annapurna Base Camp trek.

Annapurna Base Camp Heli return trek itinerary is a special itinerary that is the most popular for being the closest and easiest base camp trekking. Annapurna base camp is located in the north-central part of Nepal inside the Annapurna conservation area. In this single trip, you’ll get a chance to experience the mountains above 8000.

The helicopter trek to Annapurna base camp is situated at 4130 m above sea level, surrounded the massive mountains, including the world’s 10th highest mountain Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m). Annapurna base camp is a beautiful small valley that offers picturesque views of the mountains like Annapurna south (7273 m), Gangapurna (7454 m), unclaimed fang (7647 m), Machhapuchre(6997 m), and other small peaks.

Annapurna base camp heli return trek route

Annapurna Base Camp Heli return trek starts from the scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara then drive about 1 hour to Nayapul. Nayapul is the trekking starting point for multiple trekking routes. From there we will ascend towards Ulleri passing by suspension bridges, waterfalls, and beautiful Gurung village.

On the third day of trekking, in the morning we will walk like 1 hour to see the mesmerizing view of the sunrise over the Annapurna range from poon hill. Poonhill is also the most popular trekking destination from where you can view the closer views of the mountains like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri Machhapuchhre, Manaslu and many-many other massive mountains.

Passing through the dark forest of rhododendron and bamboo we will ascend towards Annapurna base camp. After 6 days of the trek, we finally reach our main primary destination of the trek Annapurna base camp and the end-day of the Annapurna Base Camp Heli return trek.

Next day, after breakfast we will take a scenic flight from Annapurna base camp to the touristic city/ paradise Pokhara. After the sightseeing around the fewa lake and Mountain museum, we will return back to Kathmandu.

I completed the Manaslu Circuit with Saugat and Aunil, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! The trek was breathtaking, the organization was perfect, and the views were simply stunning. Saugat’s knowledge, professionalism, and expertise as a guide, together with Aunil’s help, kindness, and support as a porter, made the whole experience even more special. Thanks to Life Himalaya Trekking, my husband and I were able to realize a dream. From the moment of organizing from Italy, Shiba proved to be extremely available and quick in communications. And, once here, we were able to immediately verify how efficient the entire team that makes up the company is. Shiba is infinitely sweet and friendly; he pampered us, guiding us through all the organizational aspects of our trip, from the trek to Everest Base Camp to cultural visits in Kathmandu and surroundings, covering all types of transportation we needed. We were extremely satisfied with our Everest Base Camp trek with Life Himalaya Trekking. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, everything was organized perfectly. Due to weather conditions, the company arranged a helicopter flight for us, which made the start of our adventure even more special. Our guide, Rabin, was exceptional. He was kind, caring, and looked after us every step of the way. Whenever we felt unwell, he made sure we were comfortable and helped us recover.  Verified Awesome experience with Life Himalayan
I had a wonderful time trekking EBC. Birsha Rai was an awesome guide he made sure I had anything I needed. He made sure my accommodations were good and I had plenty of water and snacks for the trek. Dhan Kajl was my porter and he took extra care of my things my bag was always clean and dry when delivered to my room. He even carried my day pack the last stretch of EBC trek. Life Himalayan took care of me from the moment I landed and was without one bag to making sure I made all my helicopter connections. Someone was there every step of the way. Life Himalaya Trekking gave us an amazing experience! We had the most wonderful guide, Jal Tamang. Not only did he provide amazing conversation, high spirits, and tons of great information about the Everest region, he went above and beyond when a member of our party got altitude sickness. He worked tirelessly to bring food & water to them during their hospital stay, but also coordinated their time in Lukla after they had had to descend. I still made it to Base Camp, and throughout our journey he made the entire experience unforgettable. The accommodations were also truly top notch, with the earlier tea houses offering hot showers, readily available charging, and even heating pads under the mattresses.
