Everest-Amadablam-Panaroma-tengbocheRegarding flight in the mountain region

Mostly twin otter is the most common means of air transportation in the Nepalese sky and during flight in the Himalayan region of Nepal, the flight schedule is canceled and change from time to time due to poor visibility, weather condition, and many other technical problems.

In such a case, we would charter a helicopter for our guests regarding the schedule of their international flight and for the different problems that arise in the trek. The charter cost should be paid at the head office of Tourist link Trek at Thamel and later on, you can claim with your travel insurance.

As per Nepal Civil aviation rules, the helicopter will fly, if the visibility is up to 1500m and visibility should be 5000m for flying Twin Otter in Nepalese sky.

My third trek with Life Himalaya! And certainly not the last
My third trek with Life Himalaya! And certainly not the last I consider Shiba (the owner) a friend, a good businessman and overall kind person. You will realise one trek in Nepal is never enough and Shiba has been there on each of my visits to ensure my experience has been smooth and enjoyable.

This time i finally visited the Khumbu region and made my way via the traditional Sherpa villages of Khumjung and Phortse to the spectacular Ama Dablam base camp.

I prefer to avoid the crowds, so this route was ideal for me as analternative to the busier ebc route.

I must also mention my guide this time; Basander (sorry if i got the spelling wrong). We clicked very well and i think shared a similar sense of humour. It would be great to trek with him again at some point.

Anyway youve read mine and others reviews. Do yourself a favour and book with Life Himalaya!

See you next time.
