About Gyan

Gyan Bahadur Tamang was born in the Dhading in Ganesh Himal region. He started his trekking career as a porter after some time, by his hard work, experience, and knowledge he became a guide. Then he summits two peaks, the island peak & Lobuche peak, 4 and 2 times respectively. He started to work as a porter in 1991 AD then in 1998 AD he got a Trekking guide license and in 2010 he also got a peak climbing license. As a Sherpa, he knows all about the Himalayan region specially Mt. Everest and Manaslu. He can speak 3 different languages, English, Hindi, and Nepali.
