Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek Itinerary
Welcome to the Land of Himalayas, Nepal. Today, the first day of our adventurous Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek journey begins. Your wonderful journey begins upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. After landing, our representative will happily welcome you with warm greetings and easily transfer you to the respective hotel with our private vehicle as per your group size.
In the evening, you will be introduced to your tour guide and discuss the trip briefing session in short at our office and had a welcome dinner hosted by Life Himalaya Trekking at a typical Nepalese Restaurant.

Today we spend our day in Kathmandu after your long flight from our home countries. Our day starts after having breakfast for a sightseeing tour along with a city guide around Kathmandu which is enlisted in World Heritage Sites by UNESCO including Pashupatinath Temple, Buddhanath Sputa, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar square.
In the evening, you will get an orientation program where your trekking guide will provide you with information regarding the trip and make a trek preparation.

Today is the beginning day of our Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek in the land of the Himalayas. After breakfast, your trekking guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Domestic Airport in Kathmandu. Without worrying about the Lukla flight delay and cancellation, we took a short and scenic helicopter charter flight to reach the Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla.
Your Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek begins when you reach Lukla. On your arrival at Lukla, you’ll be introduced to your Porters and crew members. After a short meeting and introduction with the porters, our trek begins through the beautifully paved footpath and alongside Dudh Koshi River along with typical Sherpa villages until we reach Phakding village.

Our day begins after having breakfast at the teahouse. The trail leads along with a beautiful Sherpa settlement, Dudh Koshi River, and a series of suspension bridges toward the famous villages of Benkar and Monjo.
Thereafter, we ascend the village of Jorsalle- Sagarmatha National Park entry point as well as checking point of Permit and TIMS card. After lunch at Jorsalle, we continue walking along with the river bank and were able to see snow-capped mountains such as Mt. Thamasekru, Lhotse, Everest panoramas, and its majesty for the first time.
Walking through Hillary Bridge we will reach to Namche Bazaar- the capital of the Everest region. Namche Bazaar is a delightful mountain town built on a steep mountain bowl with excellent views of mountains. Overnight at a tea house in Namche Bazaar.

Today is the day for acclimatization or rest day, where we will spend the day again at Namche Bazaar. Climbing high and sleeping low is considered a good way to acclimatize your body so that there will not be any altitude sickness problems.
After lunch, we will short hike towards Everest view hotel- the highest altitude placed Luxury Hotel in the world to see the close-up views of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m) and panoramic view of the world’s highest mountains including Mt. Everest.
Then we back from there and visitors to enjoy beautiful Namche or take a rest and prepare for the next day.

Our day begins with a pleasant walk on a beautiful footpath passing a beautiful forest and enjoying the magnificent views of the Himalayas. We continue our trek towards the village of Kenjoma and Sansaa- the way to Gokyo Lake and Everest base camp separates.
After lunch at Phunki Tanga, we move steeply up through the pine forest for around two to three hours to reach Tengboche village. Tengboche is a magnificent village in the Everest region with a charming spot of close views of the world’s highest mountains Ama Dablam.
We will visit the renowned oldest and biggest Buddhist Tengboche monasteries nourishing spirit with the daily praying Buddhist monks. Continuing our walk via the village of Pangboche along with Rhododendron forest we will reach Debuche.

After breakfast, our day begins with a pleasant walking through the several Mani walls, typical villages, and several Chortens. Following the Imja Khola and crossing the bridges, we reach the village of Orsho- the way that separates the trial to Pheriche and Dingboche.
We enjoy our lunch with the breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and enter the Imja Valley. We continue our walk towards Imja valley to reach the Dingboche. It is a picturesque village with beautifully cultivated fields where people grow food like barley, and potato as well as graze domestic animals i.e. Yak. Dingboche is also known as the gateway for Island Peak Climbing.

Today is another day of rest on the high-altitude trek. We stop at Dingboche to ensure proper acclimatization at a high altitude to stay active as well as safe from altitude sickness in further coming days on trekking.
After a late breakfast, we will hike around Nagarjun Peak from where we can seek the tremendous views of majestic peaks like Mt. Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, and Ama Dablam, Island peak, Taboche, and many mighty peaks from different faces and angles. You can also visit the beautiful Dingboche village. After lunch, you basically have free time to rest and relax.

After proper rest, our day begins with an amazing hike towards the famous village Dhugla passing through the Khumbu Khola valley. The trek continues with impressive views of peaks like Khumbuste, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhoste and Everest, and Khumbu glacier.
The valley begins to narrow as we come closer to Dusa. The trail is steep and the trail consists of numerous huge rocks and mountains yaks passing nearby at a high altitude. We can also see many memorials made in the memory of climbers with praying flags and stones who passed away on the way to Mt. Everest. Now, we are in mountain land. Walking through the mountain land, we can easily get tiredness in a normal walk towards Lobuche- a small settlement near Mt. Everest.

Today is the most important day of your Everest Base Camp Helicopter trek. Today is the longest day walk which continues after breakfast in Lobuche. The trail is quite wide and easy to walk up to the Gorak Shep.
On reaching Gorak Shep, we keep all our belongings in lodges and take some rest. After lunch, we head towards our final destination Mt. Everest Base Camp with a huge excitement with a snowy route. After reaching our destination we enjoy the breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhoste, Pumori, Khumbuste, and many others as well as the natural splendor of the Khumbu glacier.
After finishing all activities we return back to Gorak Shep with the same trial since there is no place and teahouses to stay at Everest Base Camp.

Today we wake early in the morning to climb to the top of Kalapatthar (5,545 m) which is one of the best viewpoints and one of the prime highlights of the Everest region.
From Kalapatthar we can observe the 360-degree panoramic views with vibrant sunrise on snow-capped mountains like Mt. Everest, Khumbase, Pumari, Cho-Oyu, Khumbu Glacier, Ama Dablam, Everest Base Camp, etc.
Then trek down to Gorakshep and had breakfast. After breakfast, we take a chartered Helicopter flight directly to Kathmandu. During your chartered Helicopter flight back above the Himalayas, you would get ample opportunities to seek the amazing panoramic views of the world’s highest mountain ranges.
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, our representative will pick up you and easily transfer you to your respective hotel with our private vehicle.
