Updated Protocol for Trekkers Entering to Nepal from 25.03.2021 for Trekking, Tour and Climbing
The Government of Nepal has made traveling in Nepal and Trekking to Everest much easier. The latest protocols for tourist VIsa and airline ticketing are mentioned below.
Visa before arrival
- Recommendation from the Tourism department of Nepal or Nepal tourism Board through your Travel agency of Nepal (should be registered company). Life Himalaya is a local and registered company.
- Hotel Booking Confirmation
- Travel Insurance
- Get Visa from the embassy of Nepal from your country submitting the above documents along with passport and other necessary information requested by the embassy
Visa On Arrival
- Negative PCR report (within 72 hr departing from origin country) or fully COVID 19 vaccination card/ document
- Recommendation from the Tourism department of Nepal or Nepal tourism Board through your Travel Trekking agency of Nepal (should be registered company).
- Hotel Booking Confirmation
- Travel Insurance
Visa will be granted at the airport upon arrival.
For Airlines
- Negative PCR report (within 72 hr departing from origin country) or fully COVID 19 vaccination card/ document
- Recommendation from the Tourism department of Nepal or Nepal tourism Board through your Travel agency of Nepal (Must be Government registered company).
- Hotel Booking Confirmation
- Travel Insurance
After arrival
PCR test is performed on the day of your arrival and on your Negative result you can continue trekking in the Himalayas with Life Himalaya from the following day.

Life Himalayan Covid-19 vaccination Information
Front-line workers, staff members, guides, and porters of Life Himalaya Trekking are being vaccinated to ensure the safety of their own health as well as our valuable guest. The first group of team members was vaccinated on 08/04/2021 as per the Ministry of Health. All of our team members living in the Everest region or other regions will be vaccinated as soon as possible.
All the guides and porters involved in the trek with our guests will be vaccinated from now on. Non-vaccinated members will not be allowed to work with the guests to make sure of the health and safety of both guests and themselves.
