Luxury Lodges during EBC Trek

A. Lukla

Yeti Mountain Home

A well-known and established luxury lodge in Everest Base Camp Trek of the Khumbu Region. Yeti Mountain Home offers its service in Lukla, “The Gateway to Everest.” Each of their hotels offers quality hospitality and service.

The Yeti Mountain Home’s main attractions are its excellent meals and welcoming sherpa service. Each of these hotels has 11 to 20 cozy rooms with private bathrooms.

Everest Summit Lodge

Another Himalayan brand with highly praised accommodation and service. It offers rooms with heated beds, hot showers, and attached rooms with great hospitality and comfort.

With Nepalese style build mixed with Himalayan service and panoramic views. Some also prefer an excursion to Bom Village for panoramic views of Lukla and the popular airstrip.

B. Phakding

A downhill descent after arriving in Lukla leads you to Phakding. Phakding is a local settlement. White micaceous clay, used to whitewash house walls, was once produced there. The meaning of the word Phakding is as follows.

It makes sense that most hikers camp there today as they make their way to Namche. The Pemachholing Gompa, one of the most significant gompas in Khumbu, is located across the bridge on the western bank of the Dudh Koshi River. The 20 minutes it takes to get there—known as Gumela Gompa—are worthwhile.

Yeti Mountain Home

Even though we move higher in the vast Himalayas, Rivendell has been providing the best available services in Debuche. The quality of service won’t be as superior as that of Luxury accommodations in Namche and below but the lodges are the local Sherpa hospitality is immaculate.

Himalayan Culture Home, situated in Debuche is famous for its quality food, never ending smiles of the owners and cozy rooms. Himalayan Culture Home also is established in Namche Bazaar on the left hill while trekking uphill.

G. Dingboche

With closeup views of some of the highest peaks of the world and beautiful Everest panorama, Dingboche is perfect for acclimatization. Narksyasang is one of the most beautiful viewpoints and day hiking spots from Dingboche. With arguably one of the best viewpoints of Everest Region, on a clear day offers 360 degree panoramic views.

H. Lobuche

The height of Lobuche is 4940m. Lobuche is the second last accommodation place for Everest Base Camp. Traditional Nepalese-style stone huts would welcome you for a night’s stay. Only recently have a few specialized facilities been constructed here.

Oxygen Inn

Oxygen Inn is probably the best lodge accommodation available in Lobuche. Even though there are no attached rooms, the heated blankets and cozy rooms are best available in the whole of Lobuche.

Pyramid Hotel

“Pyramid Hotel ” 8000 Inn, also popular due to the popular PYRAMID (Laboratory) situated in the premise of the hotel.

I. Gorakshep

Gorakshep is a small town in Nepal that is located on the brink of a frozen lakebed that is covered in sand and debris. It is located close to Mount Everest at an elevation of 5,164 meters (16,942 feet). The village is not continuously populated.

Although Gorak Shep’s hiking lodges are simple, more contemporary conveniences, such satellite high-speed internet access, have recently been available.

After finishing high school, he came to Kathmandu and join a college of Geography and travel/tourism; also join trekking. Firstly, he started his trekking as a porter, and then he became a guide. He used to work as a manager in 2 different companies. Because of his hard work, he is now the founder of his own company life Himalaya trekking.
