Nepal is a landlocked country in Southern Asia, between the Tibet autonomous region of China and India. It contains 8 of the world’s 10 highest peaks, including Mount Everest-the world’s tallest-on the border with Tibet, and Lumbini, the birth place of Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.

King Gyanendra left the position of the King for the better of the nation and its people. Several historical sites such as Basantapur Durbar square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, etc. are enlisted in the world heritage list of UNESCO. These are the favorite place for tourist to spend their day while living in Kathmandu.

Wildlife Diversity is a notable feature of Nepal. Because of the variance in climate, from tropical to arctic, Nepal has a large variety of plants and animals. Wildlife tourism is also a major source of tourism in the country. There are some animal species which are unique to Nepal, such as the spiny babbler. Nepal is also host to a large number of rhododendron species. The wildlife of Nepal includes its flora and fauna.

Nepal has established numerous National Parks and reserves in order to protect its diverse fauna. Nepal is a biodiversity hot spot with ecoregions broadly comprising the mountainous ecoregions, the savanna and grasslands ecoregions of the terai (foothills), and the Rara Lake ecoregions, which has many endemic species. Among the several species of mammal found in Nepal, notable are Bengal fox, Bengal tiger, clouded leopard, corsac fox, Indian rhinoceros, Indian elephant, marbled cat, red panda, snow leopard, Tibetan fox and Tibetan wolf.

There are 400 species of vascular plants which are endemic to Nepal. Of these, two in particular are orchids Pleione coronaria and Oreorchis porphyranthes. Nepal is also famous for its Ayurveda medicine that is extracted from the natural resources and it has been recognized throughout the world. Yarsagumba is one kind of fungus that parasitizes larvae of ghost moths and produces a fruiting body valued as an herbal remedy found in mountainous regions of Nepal. Nepal export Yarsagumba in huge amount every year as it is quite expensive in the foreign market for its benefit.

The Yeti (Mountain Man) is an ape-like cryptid taller than an average human that is said to inhabit the Himalayan Region of Nepal. The name Yeti is commonly used by the people indigenous to the region, and is part of their history and mythology. The scientific community has generally regarded the Yeti as a legend, given the lack of conclusive evidence, and it remains one of the most famous creatures of crypto zoology. In one genetic study, researchers matched DNA from hair samples found in the Himalaya with a prehistoric bear from the Pleistocene epoch.

Nepal is a unity in Diversity. It is multi cast, multi culture and multi religion country. The cast system in this as rigid as the Hindu religion. It was the men who divide the various groups of people in different cast and sub cast. The Hindu in Nepal has divided the society into four main castes. They are Brahmins, Chhetri, Vaishya and Sudras. The Brahmins were regarded as a highest cast and were suppose to be the learned of all caste. Chhetri were the warrior castes and they involve in army. The Vaishyas were the working class or and also the business class and look after economic. Sudras were the lowest castes and worked as cleaners and scavengers. In Nepali society there used to be a vast discrimination between different castes. The upper caste people used to dominate the low caste people. Though the constitution of Nepal has provisions to protect the low caste people. Although Nepal is still regarded as the third world country, it has got its own mark on the world history with its richness in culture, history and many more other aspects.

Mr. Shiba Hari Rijal was born in the Dhading district of Nepal. He finishes his school level from Shree Bachhala devi higher secondary school in his own village. After finishing high school, he came to Kathmandu and join a college of Geography and travel/tourism; also join trekking. Firstly, he started his trekking as a porter, and then he became a guide. He used to work as a manager in 2 different companies. Because of his hard work, he is now the founder of his own company life Himalaya trekking.
