10 Days Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary
For the very first day, we will happily welcome you to Nepal. We transfer to the domestic airport in Kathmandu to fly to Lukla. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas on your flight to Lukla which is approximately 35 min flight.
Here at Lukla, we will introduce you to the porter, and we enter the Everest region. The trek begins gently alongside a Dudh Koshi River & along excellent paved footpaths, passing scattered green valleys, and typical villages to reach Phakding. It is roughly a three-hour walk from Lukla to a pretty village comprising the small village of Phakding. overnight in Phakding

We enjoy our breakfast in the Himalayas and get prepared to start one of the most memorable adventures of our life. Our trekking begins with a gentle walk to Monjo, the beautiful settlement of Sherpa, and the place where we enter into the world heritage site Sagarmatha National ,then cross the river a few times and start a long unrelenting path uphill, with one spectacular bridge spanning a deep gorge.
We trek uphill and were able to see Mt. Everest and Lhoste for the first time before reaching Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is a pretty big town and is considered the gateway of the Khumbu or Everest region.
It is built on a steep mountain bowl with excellent views of the Himalayas with every facility like restaurants, banks, and shops, etc. overnight in the best available lodge in Namche.

We will stay in Namche Bazaar for two nights, to ensure proper altitude acclimatization. Getting acclimatized is very important on a high-altitude trek. The day is reserved for the acclimatization process where you will spend on full day higher altitude environment.
After lunch, we will short hike towards the Everest view hotel from where you can see the prime views of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m) and a panoramic view of the world’s highest mountains. Then we back to Namche again, and enjoy the beautiful town as well take some rest and prepare for the next day.

The day begins after breakfast; we start trekking to Tengboche. The trek starts with a short hike to Kenjoma. From here the trail to Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Camp separates.
We cross Dudhkoshi River before ascending to reach Tengboche. The trail goes steeply up through beautiful forests, and magnificent views of mountains like Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde peak with numerous mind-blowing villages. Tengboche is another magnificent village in the Khumbu region. Tengboche is a charming spot with close views of the world’s beautiful peak Ama Dablam.
After reaching Tengboche, you will visit the renowned biggest Buddhist Tengboche monasteries with the daily praying of Buddhist monks in the region, and we will descend for a night’s stay. Overnight Stay at the best available tea house in Tengboche/Debuche.

Our day begins with a short hike passing through lush green Rhododendron forests to reach the village of Pangboche. Pangboche is the home to many Everest climbers. Then walking for a while, we will reach Orsho and from here the trail to Pheriche and Dingboche separates.
After a few hours of hike, we will reach Dingboche, a small village in the Chukhung Valley. Dingboche is also known as the gate for Island Peak Climbing. The views of Mt. Ama Dablam and Island Peak are breathtaking from Dingboche.

Today is another day of acclimatization in Dingboche. We take a rest day however interested trekkers can climb to the top of the hill for acclimatization purposes.
Climbing high and sleeping low is considered a good way to acclimatize your body so that there will not be any altitude sickness problems. After lunch, we will go for a short hike to the gorgeous Chhukung Valley which is surrounded by majestic peaks like Mt. Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam, Island peak, Taboche, and many mighty peaks. We can also witness Imja Khola Valley and the beautiful Dingboche village. Then back to Dingboche for proper rest and prepare for tomorrow.

We gently start our trekking trial through Pheriche village. We climb through Duglha via Khumbu Khola valley and trek towards Lobuche. The trail is steep and the trail consists of numerous huge rocks and yaks that will be passing nearby at a high altitude. Now, we are in mountain land, so we get tiredness is normal to walk towards Lobuche.
Ascending further, we will reach a cross with many memorials made in the memory of climbers who passed away in this region. Then we reach the trail joining from Gokyo Lakes and Cho La Pass. The trail will become slightly easier from here up to Lobuche. Lobuche contains only a few houses and after the long walk.

Our day starts with breakfast in Lobuche before we start our trek to Gorakshep; one of the adventurous places in the Everest region. The majestic mountains will become closer and fantastic all the way till we reach our destination. We will be walking between 5,000 meters to 5,400 meters on this day. The trail is quite wide and easy to walk to Gorakshep. Once we reach Gorakshep we will keep our belongings in the lodge and have lunch and start our hiking to Everest Base Camp.
Today is the most exciting, hardest, longest, and most important day in our adventure trek towards the Everest Base Camp. The trail from Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp includes numerous small rocks, and short ups and downs hills covered with snow all the way. We have to be careful while walking so that we don’t get injured. Then we reach our final destination Everest Base Camp, and we can enjoy breath-taking views of the world’s highest mountains Mt. Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, and Lhotse along with several other peaks, the natural splendor of Khumbu Glacier; one of the biggest glaciers in the world, and natural ice fall from the base camp.
After finishing our activities around the Everest base camp we will return to Gorakshep through the same trail. Overnight Stay at the best available lodge or teahouse in Gorakshep.

Early morning climb to the top of Kalapatthar (5,545 m) which is one of the best viewpoints in the Himalayas of Everest region. The early morning walk to Kalapathar from Gorakshep is approximately two hours. From Kalapatthar we can observe the 360o panoramic views with vibrant sunrise of snow-capped mountains. From here we can see the face of Everest and deep into the Khumbu icefield.
We can enjoy the incredible view of Mt. Everest, Khumbase, Pumari, Cho-Oyu, Khumbu Glacier, Ama Dablam, Everest Base Camp, etc. Then trek down to Gorakshep and had breakfast. Then prepare for the Helicopter flying back to Lukla. During our flight back we will see Mt. Everest from a closer point and amazing panoramic views of the hundreds of mountain peaks. After landing in Lukla we can have a small excursion over there or we can take a rest.

Today last day with your Sherpa porter so, if you are happy with their services you may give them some gratitude. Then we take the earliest possible flight back to Kathmandu with the long-lasting memories of our successful 10 days EBC Trek. We enjoy another 35 minutes breathtaking flight to Kathmandu taking some thrilling experiences.
After reaching Kathmandu, You can relax and stay in a hotel or explore around Kathmandu or do some shopping and so on. Once your guide will drop you at the hotel you can also give him some gratitude if you are happy with his services. Today is the last day of the trip, so we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight as per your flight schedule towards your sweet home.
