Short Everest Base Camp Heli Return Trek to KTM Â is a newly introduced 8-day helicopter return trek by Life Himalaya Trekking. It is a much different lodge trekking package than others since Helicopters are returned to Lukla from the Gorakshep.
Our team has come up with this new idea to provide successful and quality service to the trekkers so that they could have a better holiday in Nepal. Everest Base Camp Heli's Return Trek to KTM starts with the early morning Kathmandu to Lukla flight.
The flight is by plane or by helicopter as it is optional and can be changed accordingly according to our guest’s demands.
Entering the Everest trekking region; Our Short Everest Base Camp Heli Return Trek to KTM  starts towards the Everest base camp passing through the most popular local villages Phakding, Namche Bazaar which is the capital of the Everest region, Tengboche monastery which is the oldest monastery, and the largest holy place for Tibetan and Sherpa.
You can see the Sherpa people praying in the morning and evening, chanting different mantras. They believe that chanting mantra will purify their soul and bring inner peace. On the way to EBC, you’ll find shops and restaurants open, small Sherpa children playing footballs in the streets, Yaks, and mules carrying loads of trekkers for the trek, and the expedition can be seen on the way to Everest Base Camp.

Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding
Enjoy the scenic, exciting and thrilling flight to the gateway of Everest, Lukla. It is one of the extreme and beautiful airports and is surrounded by amazing landscapes. You can even charter a helicopter to Lukla from KTM if you want to have an easy flight and you also don’t have to worry about the ever-changing weather of the Himalayas. After reaching Luka you will meet with the porters and have lunch and start your trek to Phakding.

Trek to Namche Bazaar
Our day begins with morning breakfast. Then, we continue our trail to Namche Bazaar with several villages, teahouses, etc. on our way. We will also get the chance to see yaks and mules, other trekkers, and scenic views of landscapes, suspension bridges, rivers, waterfall etc. We will check in to Sagarmatha National park on this day and also see some snow-capped mountains along the way.

Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
The third day is a rest day, where we will spend our day at Namche Bazaar. Climbing high and sleeping low is considered a good way to acclimatize with your body and get rid of altitude sickness. After lunch, we will short hike towards Everest view hotel- the highest altitude placed Luxury Hotel in the world to see the close-up views of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m) and panoramic view of the world highest mountains including Mt. Everest. Then we back from there and visitors enjoy beautiful Namche or take a rest and prepare for the next day.

Trek to Tengboche
After breakfast, we start off for a pleasant walk until we arrive at Punki village where we have our lunch and walk 2-3 hrs. to reach Tengboche. Tengboche Monastery is located here which is the oldest monastery in the world. We could see the young monks singing, dancing and praying. Â Tengboche village has some close point to observe the highest summit in the world.

Trek to Dingboche
After breakfast, our day begins with a pleasant walking through the several Mani walls, typical villages, and several Chortens. We enjoy our lunch at imja village with some of the extraordinary views of Ama-Dablam. We can see barley and potato planted at the land near the villages. The Dingboche village is also known as the gateway to Island peak.

Trek to Lobuche
The terrain gets rockier and rockier and the trees are not seen anymore. We can see some sculpture made for the memory of dead people. We can also see praying flags and yaks during the trail. Walking is so tiring in the Himalayan region of Nepal and we reach to Lobuche for the overnight. Lobuche is a small settlement area make for the trekkers to EBC

Trek to Everest base camp and overnight to Gorakshep
This will be the most important and memorable day of the whole trek. We can be able to be at the base of the world highest mountain Mt. Everest (8848m) we can observe the 360-degree view of Everest, Pumori, Lhotse, Nuptse and many more mountains around Everest. Then we return back to Gorakshep and spend our night.

Hike to Kalapathar in the early morning and helicopter flight back to KTM
Early in the morning, we hike to Kalapathar for a better view of the mighty Himalayans in the region. Then return back to Lukla with a scenic helicopter ride. Then return back to KTM by flight on a plane or by Helicopter as your will.
