Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel

After you land at Kathmandu Airport, you will find our agent outside the airport terminal waiting for you with a play card. Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and Trek to Phakding

The second day of your trek begins very early as you will be boarding on a morning 6/7 flight to Lukla. The flight takes around 30 minutes, where you will be able to witness the bird’s eye view of the Nepal Himalayas. Your actual hike to Everest Base Camp begins right after you land at Lukla Airport. You will be trekking around 6-7 hours after landing at Lukla Airport.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

After leaving Namche Bazaar, you will be hiking towards the charming village of Tengboche. The hike to Tengboche is not very challenging and allows you to hike at a gentle pace. During the hike to Tengboche, you can witness the breathtaking view of peaks such as Mt. Everest, Mount Ama Dablam, Mount Lobuche, and other nearby peaks. At one point, you will gradually drop to the Dudh Koshi Valley before hiking up to the village of Tengboche.

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

The trek becomes more exciting from Dingboche as the trail climbs steeply. You’ll pass through Dughla (Thukla) after ascending a steep slope. Early Morning Hike to Kala Patthar and Helicopter Flight Back to Lukla and to Kathmandu

The 10-day hike begins very early as you will wake up before sunrise and make your way towards the vantage point of Kala Patthar. You will hike for around 3 hours to witness the breathtaking sunrise view over the snowcapped peaks of Mt Everest. Kala Patthar is the highest elevation in your trek. You will be reaching an altitude of 5,545 meters from the sea level. You will spend some hours in Kala Patthar witnessing the panoramic view of Everest and other nearby peaks.

Finally, you will return back to Gorak Shep and take a helicopter flight from Gorakshep.
