These booking terms and conditions are very important for a legally binding contract between you and Life Himalaya trekking. It is extremely important to read and understand these terms and conditions.

Our Policy:

These terms and conditions are strictly applied from the booking date. For third-party booking, these terms and conditions do not apply. So for security, please read these terms and conditions below:

Booking and Payment Policy For the booking process, you must pay 200 USD or NPR 15000 per person which is non-refundable. At the time of booking, we need a scanned copy of your passports and four passport-size photos. During the payment, the bank service charge should be paid by the client at the time of deposit. Before starting a trip the price of the trip must be clear.

Paying Methods for deposit: For all the payment methods, the bank will charge an extra 4% of the total payment and be applicable to the depositor.

Last Minute Booking   Life Himalaya Team will accept last-minute booing for any Nepal trips but for Last minute booking, you must pay all amounts during the booking process.

Trip Cancellation and refund:

If you cancel any of the trips that have been booked with us then you must send us cancellation documentation or e-mail. If you pay the full amount before the trip then the following conditions will be applied during cancellation.

For Tour Trekking and hiking:

Except for the trek deposit, other Payments will be refunded, if you cancel your trip before 1 week of your trek departure.

Otherwise, 80% of your payment will be refunded of your total payment.

Non-Tourist Area and climbing Cancellation Policy:

50 % will be refunded of your total payment, 6 weeks before trip departure.

30 % will be refunded of your total payment, 3 weeks before trip departure.

No refund, 3 weeks or less before trip departure.

Important Notes:

Incomplete Trip: The paid amount will not refund if you leave your trip for any reason and also for unused accommodation, meals, and services.

Flight delays and changes in the itinerary: The itinerary and flight can be changed because of unexpected obstacles like bad weather, strikes, natural disaster, unfavorable climates, etc. In these situations, the extra cost should be paid by the client. If the client has an extended time period and commitment to do the client choice of the trek; in that situation, you may use a charter Helicopter and the cost for this will be extra.

Accommodation, Food, Beverage: When you are flying to the Himalayas there might be some issues with the weather because of it the flight might get canceled and you have to stay in Kathmandu then the client has to pay extra.  Life Himalaya will be not responsible for this kind of situation and take any risk.

Nepal Passport and Visas: All clients must have a legal passport and Visa which is valid up to 6 months from the issued date. Visa will be issued upon your arrival at Kathmandu international airport and all entry points of Nepal. The cost of a Visa is the client’s responsibility.

Responsibility: Providing you with the best service is our main motto. So we will carry out our responsibility for making your trip enjoyable and unforgettable.

Affecting factors: We will do our best for your comfort during your trek but it is important to understand that Himalayan regions cannot afford facilities like the ones you might be accustomed to in your countries. Weather is another important and sometimes random factor that directly affects comfort on your journey. Hence, patience and understanding, passion for life, eagerness, and proper preparation are all very important personal qualities that you must bring with you.

Personal belongings: The trip leader and staffs do their best to keep safe your personal stuff. But, if in case of loss our company will not be responsible for it.

Guaranteed Trip Departure:  If you book with us then your trip departure will not change even if the number of groups size decrease. We will guarantee your trip departure.

Travel Insurance: Before joining our trips you must have your insurance. The insurance must include medical coverage, air ambulance, and helicopter rescue services up to 6000 m. If you do not have any insurance then you are not allowed to join any of our trips.

Complaints: If you want to complain about our trip leaders, guide and staff, you can and Life Himalaya will seriously take further strong action according to your complaints.

Last Minute offer: If Sometimes the trek cannot depart from the day we fixed due to the weather and other factors then we will provide you with an alternative trek. For instance, Lukla airport is one of the most extreme airports in the world. Sometimes Lukla flights may be delayed and canceled from time to time due to unexpected obstacles like bad weather and unfavorable climates. Due to these unexpected problems, if you are unable to continue Everest trekking in that situation we will prove a last-minute offer to Annapurna Base camp trek of the same service and number of days which you have booked on Everest.
