Luxury Everest Base Camp Lodge Trek Itinerary
After you land at Kathmandu Airport (TIA), the Life Himalaya representative will pick you up. They will be ready with our company banner and your name to welcome you at the airport at your arrival time. The hotel is 4-5km from the airport which will be done by short drive in a private vehicle. You will be checked in After refreshment, you will meet with the guide and our managing director and discuss your overall trek in Nepal.
Overnight in 05-star Hotel in Kathmandu (Hotel Marriot/ Aloft/ Yak and Yeti)
After breakfast, you will travel to some of the most popular travel destinations inside Kathmandu Valley. At your preferred time the tour guide will arrive and guide you through the city. The places you travel to are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple (Swayambhunath), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath Stupa. These places are listed in World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. A tour guide will be with you to describe the history, art architecture, and details of the area.
Later in the afternoon or evening, you will collect essential gear such as a Down jacket, sleeping bags. We will provide Duffle bag of 70-80 liters and Life Himalaya T-shirt (as souvenirs)

Early morning, the guide will pick you up from your hotel to the domestic airport for your flight to Lukla. The trek officially begins with the scenic 35 min flight to Lukla. This flight is considered one of the most thrilling and jaw-dropping flight experiences in the whole world. As this day is shorter and easier, you can sightsee around Lukla and Lukla Airport, click some photos. After breakfast in Lukla, we descend to Phakding. A local village in Dudh Koshi valley at an altitude of 2,610m. Several quality guest houses and lodges are available to provide Luxury accommodation service during your Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek.

One of the strenuous walks of your Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek. Today you start your trek after breakfast from the lodge menu you stay in. You will reach Monjo, the checkpoint for the Sagarmatha(Local name of Everest ) National Park. Then you ascend to Namche Bazaar ‘The Sherpa Capital’, the biggest village/town area of the Luxury Everest Base Camp Trekking trail.

Today is the first acclimatization day of your trek. We tour around Namche Bazaar to observe the local lifestyle, different local shops, and markets. You will only trek to Syangboche which is short and scenic. Syangboche is the home to the highest 04-star hotel in the world “Hotel Everest View” Situated on a hilltop it provides amazing sunrise and sunset views with the golden reflection on some of the highest peaks of the world. A truly magical luxury experience in such high altitude with calm and relaxing Everest nature.

After a luxury breakfast in Hotel Everest View, we continue our journey to Debuche. Our journey leads you to Debuche via Tengboche. We follow the trail to Everest Base Camp with views of Ama-Dablam and dense rhododendron forests. Tengboche Monastery the biggest monastery in the Khumbu Region provides a spiritual motivation to reach the Everest Base Camp. The Everest region’s calm, energetic, and peaceful environment is utterly refreshing.

After breakfast, our Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek continues by following mani stones, chortens, and typical peaceful local villages. We follow the Imja River and cross suspension bridges that lead to Orsho, the separating point for Pheriche and Dingboche. We continue our trek through the Imja valley and reach Dingboche, A beautiful Sherpa village with cultivating fields of Barley potato and grazing yaks. It is also the gateway to the Ama-Dablam Base Camp trek.

On our second Acclimatization day of the trek, we hike to Chukkung. Previously a paster land for yaks and domestic animals. It is now a buzzing place due to the popularity of Imja Tse/ Island Peak Climbing

On this day, we travel to Lobuche observing incredible mountain views. We reach Thugla – our lunch spot for the day. There are several stone memorials made for the unfortunate climbers of Mt Everest. Then finally we reach Lobuche through a pleasant walk in the barren hills ever so close to the enchanting Everest Base Camp.

Finally, the most awaited and important day of the whole trek. A lifetime moment to reach the base camp of the world’s highest peak with sheer luxury and adventure. Everest Base Camp awaits you to please you with the scenic beauty aroma and pleasant nature. After spending quite some time in EBC we hike back to Gorakshep where we spend the night.

Early morning, we hike to Kalapathar to observe the sunrise from the highest point reachable without a climbing permit. One of the best if not the best viewpoints of the Everest region of Nepal. From Kalapatthar we can observe the 360 panoramic views with vibrant sunrise of snow-capped mountains. From here we can see the face of Everest and deep into the Khumbu icefall. We can enjoy the incredible view of Mt. Everest, Khumbase, Pumari, Cho-Oyu, Khumbu Glacier, Ama Dablam, Everest Base Camp, etc. You return to Lobuche or Dugla depending upon your will to have a cozy sleep after a beautiful trekking day.

We start our journey back to Kathmandu via the same trail of the Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge trek. We trek back to Debuche following the same path.

The next accommodation point in return is Monjo. The descent is comparatively easier to complete but may cause pain in the knee and foot so a slow but continuous walk is better.

After breakfast, we board the flight to Kathmandu leaving the beauty and luxury of Everest trekking behind to Kathmandu n a scenic flight. And you will be checked in to your hotel in Kathmandu by the guide to spend your final night in Nepal. You can roam around the local markets, go shopping or do massages later in the afternoon or evening

Today is the last day in Nepal. Life Himalaya representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight as per your flight schedule with a warm greeting and hospitality hoping to see you next time. Bon Voyage.
