After you land at Kathmandu Airport (TIA), the Life Himalaya representative will pick you up.  They will be ready with our company banner and your name to welcome you at the airport at your arrival time. The hotel is 4-5km from the airport which will be done by short drive in a private vehicle. You will be checked in  After refreshment, you will meet with the guide and our managing director and discuss your overall trek in Nepal.

After breakfast, you will travel to some of the most popular travel destinations inside Kathmandu Valley.  At your preferred time the tour guide will arrive and guide you through the city. The places you travel to are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple (Swayambhunath), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath Stupa. These places are listed in World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. A tour guide will be with you to describe the history, art architecture, and details of the area.

Early morning, the guide will pick you up from your hotel to the domestic airport for your flight to Lukla. The trek officially begins with the scenic 35 min flight to  Lukla. This flight is considered one of the most thrilling and jaw-dropping flight experiences in the whole world. As this day is shorter and easier, you can sightsee around Lukla and Lukla Airport, click some photos. After breakfast in Lukla, we descend to Phakding. A local village in Dudh Koshi valley at an altitude of 2,610m. Several quality guest houses and lodges are available to provide Luxury accommodation service during your Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek.

One of the strenuous walks of your Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek. Today you start your trek after breakfast from the lodge menu you stay in. You will reach Monjo, the checkpoint for the Sagarmatha(Local name of Everest ) National Park. Then you ascend to Namche Bazaar ‘The Sherpa Capital’, the biggest village/town area of the Luxury Everest Base Camp Trekking trail.

Today is the first acclimatization day of your trek. We tour around Namche Bazaar to observe the local lifestyle, different local shops, and markets.  You will only trek to Syangboche which is short and scenic. Syangboche is the home to the highest 04-star hotel in the world “Hotel Everest View” Situated on a hilltop it provides amazing sunrise and sunset views with the golden reflection on some of the highest peaks of the world. A truly magical luxury experience in such high altitude with calm and relaxing Everest nature.

After a luxury breakfast in Hotel Everest View, we continue our journey to Debuche. Our journey leads you to Debuche via Tengboche. We follow the trail to Everest Base Camp with views of Ama-Dablam and dense rhododendron forests. Tengboche Monastery the biggest monastery in the Khumbu Region provides a spiritual motivation to reach the Everest Base Camp. The Everest region’s calm, energetic, and peaceful environment is utterly refreshing.

After breakfast, our Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek continues by following mani stones, chortens, and typical peaceful local villages. We follow the Imja River and cross suspension bridges that lead to Orsho, the separating point for Pheriche and Dingboche. We continue our trek through the Imja valley and reach Dingboche, A beautiful Sherpa village with cultivating fields of Barley potato and grazing yaks. It is also the gateway to the Ama-Dablam Base Camp trek.

On our second Acclimatization day of the trek, we hike to Chukkung. Previously a paster land for yaks and domestic animals. It is now a buzzing place due to the popularity of  Imja Tse/ Island Peak Climbing

On this day, we travel to Lobuche observing incredible mountain views. We reach Thugla – our lunch spot for the day. There are several stone memorials made for the unfortunate climbers of Mt Everest. Then finally we reach Lobuche through a pleasant walk in the barren hills ever so close to the enchanting Everest Base Camp.

Early morning, we hike to Kalapathar to observe the sunrise from the highest point reachable without a climbing permit. One of the best if not the best viewpoints of the Everest region of Nepal. From Kalapatthar we can observe the 360 panoramic views with vibrant sunrise of snow-capped mountains. From here we can see the face of Everest and deep into the Khumbu icefall. We can enjoy the incredible view of Mt. Everest, Khumbase, Pumari, Cho-Oyu, Khumbu Glacier, Ama Dablam, Everest Base Camp, etc. You return to Lobuche or Dugla depending upon your will to have a cozy sleep after a beautiful trekking day.

The next day, in the early morning we take a short, thrilling, and jaw-dropping to Lukla-the trek starting point. Then, to our surprise, we start the Luxury trek by descending down to the riverbank of Dudhkoshi which leads to the beautiful Sherpa settlement of Phakding.

We pass through the entrance of Sagarmatha National park in Monjo and cross Hillary Bridge to reach Sherpa’s capital- Namche Bazaar, Syangboche, and Khumjung village. Moreover, we continue passing through the villages of Tengboche, Debuche, Dingboche, and Gorakshep and towards our final destination Everest Base Camp. We will be staying at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu Marriott, aloft, Fairfield Marriott, and Hotel Yak and Yeti in Kathmandu. During our EBC luxury trekking, we will be providing the best lodges in Everest region such as at Yeti Mountain Home at Lukla, Phakding, and Namche Bazar; Hotel Everest View on Syangboche; and other nights will be spent on the best available local lodge.

Luxury 5-star hotels and luxury lodges have each and every facility but after Dingboche, the local lodges have twin-share basis rooms with s western toilets and hot showers.

A single room is possible for 1 pax in Kathmandu and Luxury lodges whereas, it might not be feasible in local lodges. A single room is also available by paying additional amounts. Due to the high altitude and Himalayas climates, the water will freeze so we cannot provide a hot shower.

But we provide a Bucket Hot Shower every day in local lodges. Also, we can find the attaches bathroom but due to frozen water the attached bathroom would have a proper flush and it’ll make a bad smell and be untidy. Hence, we provide shared bathrooms outside the room.

At last, we will guarantee that your days of trekking will be perfectly complemented by a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Transportation:

The modes of transportation are Roadways and Airways in the context of Nepal. Life Himalaya Trekking provides private vehicles as per your suits while pickup and drops from the Airport. During your sightseeing tour also there will be the best suitable private vehicles as per your number of groups.

There are normal aircraft (Twin Otter) both way flights from Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu and another is a Helicopter flight from Gorak Shep to Lukla on your trip. However, the flight contains 35 minutes short and scenic above the Himalayas.  If the group wishes to fly in and out by helicopter from Kathmandu to Lukla to Kathmandu we do manage heli return on extra cost.

Food and Beverage:

You can get any kind of food and beverage as per your tastes in five-star hotels and restaurants in Nepal. While on your Luxury Everest Base Camp trekking trip, we can choose from a menu of typical Nepalese cuisine (Dal Bhat and Tarkari) as well as other International food and beverage such as Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, and so on.
