Additional Information

Flight Cancellation Details

Tenzing Hillary Airport is one of the most dangerous airports in the world. The twin-otter plane is generally used as a means of air transportation in Nepal. There are various reasons why this airport in Lukla is considered dangerous. The constant fluctuation in weather leads to poor visibility and high humidity in the air. This makes air transportation quite complicated.

So, flight schedules are often canceled or rescheduled due to climatic conditions. In case of immediate departure or limited time, trekkers can always opt to travel by helicopter with extra charges. Or else, they will have to wait until the next day for a flight back to Kathmandu. If you do not want to settle for either of these two options, then Life Himalaya Trekking offers you an alternative trek to Annapurna Base Camp or any other trip packages of your choice. We cover one-time arrival and departure charges, but in the case of flight cancellation, you will have to bear the cost of transportation. Any additional days in the itinerary requires you to pay extra.
